Good morning Friday.
Yes, I know I have now been posting (nor crafting) for a few weeks but things have been mayhem here in the run up to christmas. We have had a lovely time and my daughter has her very own toyshop (yes, she did get that many presents from relatives and her daddy lol). I received a few new stamps and discovered that I didn't have any Kling-On lol - how totally fustrating is that!
My car decided to have an extended holiday when the head-casket went a week before christmas so that will cost a fair bit to get sorted :(.
Anyway, enough of my ramblings - I have to get the bus into town for a few bits for tonight's low-key celebrations so better just show you this card I managed to make for the MOJO sketch challenge. I have used a lovely image from A Day for Daisies called "Mum's Hat" - isn't she sweet. She has been coloured with Promarkers. I made the little heart myself as I thought they were a perfect embellishment.
Materials
Image: A Day for Daisies "Mum's Hat"
Papers: Bo Bunny "Tweetheart"
Stamps: Hero Arts (sentiment) and Crafty Individuals (hearts)
Ink: Ranger Distress Ink "Vintage Photo"
Just to finish I wanna wish everyone a happy and joyfilled New Year with dreams and wishes coming true. Hugs, Mette

Another Christmas Card
Good morning Friday.
Phew, the snow and ice is finally starting to melt. Has been bad here for almost 2 weeks now but I can get my car out again and get back to normal - until the next batch of snow.
You would think that I would have had lots of time to craft but NO - been busy getting the house ready for christmas and had lots of washing to do (still not finished).
Wanna show you this card I made the other day and yes, it's another christmas card hehe. I have used a lovely stamp I got from my local craft shop last weekend. She's by Marianne design and is called "Snoesjes" - not sure what it means tho lol. Coloured her with promarkers and used some papers from PAPER STUDIO. The ribbon is from stash and the tiny, self-adhesive pearls from JAC's with the Sentiment from TLC. I will enter this card into the following challenges
MOJO - Sketch
A Spoonful of sugar - Christmas Card
Stamp with Sarah Kay - Christmas Card
Color Throwdown - Red, chocolate, pear green
Thank you for dropping by and have a lovely day, Mette

Guest DT post for Quixotic
Just a real quickie from me this morning as my life is chaos. I am almost snowed in and the kids have been home since Tuesday so there has not been a lot of time for crafting. I have been trying to dig out my car but no success and the heavy snow falling from the roof has ripped some of my cuttering down :(. As I live in a tiny village on a hill with just a small store I have to rely on the bus to do shopping - it passes thru here once an hour.
Anyway onto my card which I made for Quixotic using some of the gorgeous stuff available from my favorite Alladin's Cave. Elaine sells everything you need to make stunning creations and if you lack a little inspiration she has a fantastic DT. Here I have used Virginia ...... again, I love her. The papers are Jovial by Basic Grey and the embellishments are from stash. I drew with a golden pen around all the corners for a little glitz, the hearts made by me.
I might be back later with another card if I survive my 1 hour trip into Derby on the bus and back again, so cross your fingers.
Thank you for dropping by and have a safe day, Mette

A Blue Christmas
Good morning Saturday
Isn't it cold ......... brrrrrr. Sitting here with thermo undies and socks and to top it all I looked out the window this morning....... Mr Snow has been visiting and dropped a lot of his fluffy, white stuff. So it seemed only appropriate to show this card
This uses a super digi image "Sharing Sherbert - Snowball" from Pollycraft and is available HERE. She's coloured with Promarkers and I added a bit of stickle to the snow to make it sparkle in the sun. The flower is 3 different Primas fasten with a brad and I used a little lace and ribbon from my stash. A digi sentiment to finish it of.
I am entering this card into the following challenges
POLLYCRAFT - Feeling blue
DIGITAL TUESDAY - Let it snow
SIMON SAYS - Let it snow
Thank you for dropping by and if you have snow - ENJOY, hugs Mette

You Go Girl!!!
Hello Monday!!
Brrrrrr it's getting cold - not sure I can feel my feet anymore hehe. Had a crazy weekend and am now trying to calm myself and chilling which is not an easy task with so much to do. But I have to otherwise I'll lose my head in the living room and forget where I put it once I get upstairs to the bedrooms.
This is another card made for my very exciting Guest DT spot at Quixotic. I decided to make a card for an All Grown Up girl. My son's girl-friend is 18 soon so I guess this would qualify. The super image is drawn by the talented Elisabeth Bell and I have used some fabby papers from PinkPaislee. These items are available from Quixotic Paperie together with a lot of other wonderful goodies we crafters can't live without (our so we keep telling our better halves hehe).
Materials
Stamp: "All Grown Up" by SCACD
Papers: "Hocus Pocus" by PinkPaislee
Flowers: Wild Orchid Flowers and Prima
Medium: promarkers
Sentiment: TLC

Whiff of Joy Guest DT Call
Good morning Sunday.
OMGosh - it's been a few days since I have posted on my blog. Many apologies but believe me, I haven't been sitting around lazy - OH NO - I will be lucky if I find myself again I've been that busy. I am sure we are all getting busier and busier in the run up to christmas and crafting will take second place. I have managed to make some card which will be posted asap and some other projects too.
This card is intended for the Guest DT Call over by Whiff of Joy. Well, who doesn't love their gorgeous stamps and all the new things which are being introduced such as papers, dies, embellishments etc.
This cheeky chap is Charlie and I love these christmas stamps. I have coloured him with Promarkers and added a tiny bit of stickles to the "snow". The sketch is provided by the very talented Katherina (WoJ's mum) - here's to fingers crossed :).
Materials
Stamp: Charlie with snowball from Whiff of Joy
Papers: Memory Box "Tinsel" from Quixotic paperie
Embellishments: stash

Guest DT post for Quixotic
Good evening Tuesday.
Yes I know I don't usually post evenings but didn't have that much spare time this morning.
In Spetember I entered the challenge @ Quixotic and to my delight I won the top spot. This means that for the month of November I am Guest DT - ask me if I am excited or not hehe. The very talented and wonderful Elaine has sent me some gorgeous stuff to play with and left the theme entirely up to me :). So this is my first post featuring goodies available from Quixotic Paperie. It is well worth a visit as it's an Alladin's cave of goodies but I would have a quiet talk with your bank manager first hehe.
I don't know about the rest of you but I find that the shop-bought tags at christmas are often too small and bland for my taste so this year I want to make personalised tags. This is my first attempt and I am quiet pleased with how it turned out. I used one of the cute stamps by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. This one is called "Virginia" and have used some absolutely gorgeous papers from Memory Box "Tinsel" - it's lovely thick paper and beautifully printed. The stamp comes complete with ornament and sentiment JOY which I have used on this tag.
Supplies used
"Virginia" bu Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps
Papers: Memory Box "Tinsel"
Flat back bead
Flower: from my stash
Inks: Versamark and Ranger Distress Ink "Vintage Photo"
Emboss Powder: Stampendous "Disco Black"
Stickles: Ranger "Crystal"
Medium: Promarkers

Pass the tradition!
Good morning Monday
Well, what do you know ......... it's raining, again lol. Why am I so surprised - this is England so of course it's raining.
I hope you all had a super week-end. I am a little sad I was unable to make the craft fair at the NEC but there is always next time (I hope). But we did have a lovely weekend.
I wanted to show you this card I made. I have had this image for a while now and not used it, which is a shame as it's really lovely. It's from A day for Daisies and she fit beautifully with their current challenge "Please Pass the Traditions". Basically include an old favortie recipe on your creation. I choose a recipe my mum and my gran always made for birthday parties in our family - it's really yummy.
I would recommend you visit Tammy's website - she has the most gorgeous images.
Materials
Image: Apple Girl by A Day for Daisies
Papers: Cosmo Cricket "Garden Variety
Recipe Stamp: The Greeting Farm "Spotlight"
Beads: Jac's
Apples: hand-cut

Sweet November flakes
Good morning Friday.
The sun is shining this morning but I am wondering for how long. Been a wet and miserable week and I can't even cheer myself up by looking foreward to NEC. Unfortunately I can't make it this time but I will start to look forward to spring. I hope everyone who goes are having a wonderful time and buying beautiful craft stuff.
Onto today's card which is another christmas one - yes, not long now but this year I am ready - well, almost hehe. I am entering this into several challenges and the embellishments lends themselves to I {heart} Promarkers "Snowflakes" and A Spoonful of Sugar "Relish to embellish". I have used some gogeous vellum printed with gold medival words attached with a few brads - Cute card Thursday's challenge this week is "Gently does it!" As the colours are rather unusual for a christmas card it fits into Everybody Art Challenge "Un-traditional xmas" and the Promarker Challenge "Pearls, Lavender and Lace". Phew .... that was a small mouthful. I hope you enjoy my card as much as I liked making it and as for the sweet image ..... well, it's one of Amy Young's and I just love them all. Mine is a digi image from All that Scrap but she is also available in rubber.
Materials

Papers: I think it's Basic Grey but not sure
Pearls: Jac's
Brads: Papermania

Hooray for you
Good morning Thurday!!
It's still raining and I am still trying to get to the bottom of my washing basket but with 2 teenagers and one princess it's a lose/lose battle hehe. Ah well, gives me a chance to do a little crafting - who am I to complain hehe.
This is what I managed to make yesterday and don't you just love Kenny's images. This Hola back girl is also November freebie and I have to say I am happy Kenny and Elaine are this generous. If you want to pick up your copy you can find her HERE. Naturally I will be entering this into the KennyK challenge "Anything goes" but it also fit's in with the Digital Tuesday Challenge "I've been framed". I used this week's MOJO sketch. Hope you like it!!

Rainy Days and a cute little witch
Good morning Monday!!!
Well, it's raining - typical when I have a load of washing to do so now it looks like the house will have to be converted to a laundrette.
Firstly I would like to share this gorgeous picture with you all. Went trick or treating with my little witch yesterday - isn't she just the cutest!! I doubt anyone was scared but than again this picture was taken earlier in the day. It rained when we went out so she ended up looking like a drowned witch instead lol. The main thing is that she had lots of fun.
She's back at school this morning and NOT HAPPY.
Secondly I have finally managed to make a card (seems as if I am to busy with other things at the moment). This sweet image is by Papilio Stamps and Malin has been really generous and offered her free. You can find her HERE but be sure to check out both the digital and rubber stamps - just so gorgeous. I made this card for Friday Sketchers challenge - they have a super sketch this week.
Materials:

Papers: Cosmo Cricket "Garden Variety"
Flowers: Prima
Brad: Docraft
Inks: Ranger "Vintage Photo" and Versa Magic ""Real Red"
Stickles: Crystal

Vavavoom!
Good morning Monday!
Well, it's the first day of the kids half-term and I have my survival kit all ready. It's crisp and cold outside but looks like a sunny day. Got lots to do after the week-end but none of it much fun - cleaning, washing, ironing etc. But at least I am more or less OK again.
This coming weekend there is a huge craft fair at the NEC - really really wanted to go but can't :(. Ah well, maybe in the spring.
I made this card for the sketch over at Kraftin' Kimmie and gave me a chance to use the very sassy Samantha. I think she's just fab - perfect for the more mature lady. The flowers are made by moi :).
Materials:

Music Saved My Soul Saturday
God Jul
Good morning Sunday!
Yup, still got the flu or what's left of it. But at least I am starting to feel more human and getting more energy. It's rather early here so still not sure what the weather is going to be like - hopefully dry.
It's half-term so I am wondering how much time I'll be allowed on the computer. Both my sons play World of Warcraft but they will more than likely be up later so I can post early mornings and have a look at other blogs.
Another christmas card from me today. Last year I made far too few so I am stocking up now. This is for the fabulous sketch over at Friday Sketchers and I have used a super image from Simply Betty. Isn't she fab!!! The sentiment is danish and means Happy Christmas.
Materials:

Papers: Mixture from scrap box
Flowers: Prima

Bunny Chit Chat
Good morning Friday
Well, the sun is still here making everyone smile but I am still not over this darn flu. Feel as weak as a newborn chicken lol. Luclily Phoebe is better and she can breath easier which is a huge relief. Managed to do a little colouring yesterday and made one card for..............
SASSY CHERYL'S CHALLENGE. They would like to see fluffy furry friends and this one is just super. Isn't she just so cute chattering about who knows what with her bunny friends (lol - my daughter has an imaginary friend who, whenever Phoebe does something naughty, get the blame). I coloured the image using my Promarkers, the papers are scrap from my scrap box which I am trying to use up - with no luck at all.
Ribbon from stash and flowers are Prima. I used a ticket with a nice sentiment.

Autumn
Good morning Thursday!
Well, the sun is shining again today but still feeling the effect of this darn flu. Been feeling ill now for 1 week with aches and pains plus a sore throat and to top it all Phoebe came home from school yesterday with a temperature. Poor baby - she gets very asthmatic when she has a cold. So now there is 2 of us ill in the house and not been feeling at all like crafting. However, I did manage to make something - took me 5 days lol.
I love autumn colours so it's a good thing there are a few challenges out there with that theme. This card will be perfect for Crazy 4 Challenges and I {heart} Promarkers as both have the theme Autumn. I followed the sketch at Sweet Stop and there is a super Bingo challenge at Allsorts - I used Pearls, Stickles and ribbon. The image is Sugar Nellie and she has been coloured with ........ yes, you guessed it PROMARKERS lol. A little stickle on the leaves as it was very frosty yesterday morning. Hope you like her!
Materials:

Good morning Sunday.
Looks like it's going to be a lovely day - such a pity when you got the flu. I spent yesterday driving to Keele University's open day with my son (1 1/2 hours away) and didn't get lost once! Now that is an achievement. My son wants to study Biological Science - which basically are the people providing doctors with all the test results etc enabling doctors to make a diagnosis. But now I feel like I've run over by a demolition truck and my throat is lined with sandpaper - yuk.
Firstly this is my song for this week's MUSIC SAVED MY SOUL. I listen to this every time I feel down and upset and I always makes my feel much happier.
Next I have a card to show you today - yes, I have finally managed to make one, not been feeling much like crafting these past few weeks but hopefully when I get better will be doing loads more.
This is a christmas card - yup, not long now. Made this the for Quixotic's monthly challenge which is Winter Wonderland - as is the challenge over at A Spoonful of Sugar. This little guy is one of Mo's - isn't he gorgeous! It's called "Who me?" and has been coloured with Promarkers. The papers are a mix from stash and the flower I stamped with Versamark and embossed with gold. Not sure where the gemmed brad is from but might be Papermania
Well, I hope you enjoyed your visit here and thank you so much for coming, Mette

Smile
Ok - I promise this will be the last post for today hehe. Nothing for a whole week and now 3 posts in 1 day - shocking. But I did tell ya that I'd managed to make a few cards this weekend so here goes ................
This card I made for Sugarbowl sketch. I usually don't get enough time to join but I did like this one. The optional theme Autumn fit well in with a few other challenges. The colours this season are wonderful :). So this is a Homegrown image from Sugar Nellie. Coloured with Promarkers and I have used a lot of different papers for the layout which I have in a huge tin box. The sentiment is from K & Co and the flower is handmade attached with a button. I am also entering this card into Stampin' for the weekend and Paper Sundae challenges.
Hope you like it.
Material: Image by Sugar Nellie
Papers: a mix
Sentiment: K & Co.
Thank you for dropping by and enjoy this lovely sunny day, Mette

Think Pink
Oh my - it's been a few days since I last posted on here but unfortunately I haven't felt like crafting and been a little busy with life. I hate it when Mojo takes a few days off to go on vacation lol. But finally made a few cards this weekend so I have some to share.
I love the image on this card. She looks like she's bitten of more than she can handle in those roller blades. She is this month's free digital image @ Kenny K's (go get her while you can). Coloured her with Promarkers in pinks which fits in with I {heart} Promarkers challenge THINK PINK, added glitter glue to her jewellery and waistcoat. The papers are from stash as are the ribbon and gems. The princess charm I got from Quixotic. I rather like how this card turned out. The flowers are handmade for Cutecard Thursday's challenge. As this would make a super birthday card I am entering it into Crazy 4 Challenges.
Materials:

Papers: Bo Bunny - Anna Griffin
Charm: Quixotic
Gems, ribbon: stash

Happy Christmas!!
Good morning Thursday.
Oh My Goodness - woke up this morning and the sun was starting to break through. What a wonderful surprise although it does mean catching up on my washing and less crafting time. But gotta make the most of a lovely day now that they will be few and far between. Not a lot else happening here apart from Phoebe is now getting settled in school and doesn't cry when I leave anymore. It's heart-breaking walking away from a crying child.
So onto today's card. Now that we are getting closer and closer to christmas I am making more and more and I do love them. There is nothing like a handmade card to tell someone they are special. This card is for 4 challenges - I used the sketch over at Just Magnolia, added a lot of glitter and bling (although it's difficult to see since I scan my cards but there is a lot on the wings and baubles and the paper is covered in gold writing) to fit in with the challenges for Crazy 4 Challenges and Totally Tilda and the christmas Theme is for Totally Gorjuss. The sentiment is in danish and basically means "Good Christmas". I stamped with Versamark and embossed.
I hope you like my card, I do think Magnolia make the most adorable images for christmas time.

Halloween
Morning Tuesday.
Well, what do you know. It's grey, damp and chilly again so no change there. Not that I really expected it from the english weather but would be nice with a little sun. Ah well, there is always tomorrow (yeah right, in my dreams lol).
I know we don't really send halloween cards here in England but with so many cute halloween images around it's almost a shame. So without further ado I am presenting .......... tada, another halloween card (huge smiles). I made this for the Quixotic challenge who wanted to see Halloween themed creations and I know that Elaine LOVES halloween. I used this adorable little girl - been wanting her since I first saw it. This is a digital image available at All That Scraps but it's also available as a rubber stamp. Although I love digital images (fast delivery, easy storage and re-sizable) there is something addictive about new rubber. Not sure if it's the smell or the fact they look too clean - just gotta ink them up.
Enough of my ramblings - hope you like this little darling.

My first ever DT work
Oh yes!! I can't believe it but the wonderful Linda Wright asked me to join her DT for Jazzlin's Design which is selling all kinds of crafting goodies. And I got to play with some of it these last few days.
This first card features the lovely Willow with baby from Whiff of Joy and it is available from Jazzlins shop or mail order. The papers are K & Co. "Classic McKenna" and all the embellishments are available from Jazzlins.
My second card features a Stampavie by Rachelle Anne Miller "Birthday Monkeys" which you can get from Jazzlins, priced at £5.95. The funky paper is by Bo Bunny which I had in my stash and needed a fun image to use it for.
I hope you like my cards, I definately had fun making them. If you are interested in any of the items featured here please contact Linda :).

100% Huggable
Good afternoon Friday.
Hope you're all doing fine. Been really busy these last few days and it doesn't help that Phoebe has caught a bad cold. Unfortunately she suffers from really bad asthma when she gets a cold so have to take her to the doctor later as she is struggling to breath. It's rather upsetting. Well, the nice weather didn't last long - thunder and lighting here yesterday evening and I did worry (just a little) if my car would be swept down the hill with all that rain hehe.
Anyways, onto my card for today. I have used one of my absolute favorite stamps "Beary Big Hugs" from Belles'n'Whistles. I wanted this stamp for a long time before she was back on stock. I made this card for the Belles'n'Whistle challenge which simply asked that you do a CAS card (Clean and simple). Hope you like this .

Hello Tuesday.
My - what a lovely day we are having today. Sunshine and blue skies - yahaa. Which has left little time for my favorite past-time - crafting. But that's ok cos it will be waiting for me when I have time again.
I have managed to make this halloween card featuring Lilith from Tickled Pink. Mine is a digital stamp but she is available HERE. She has been coloured with Promarkers. The bats are embossed onto card. The ribbon and buttons are from stash. I am entering her into the following challenges

Awesome Dude
Good morning Thursday.
Whoa hoo - the sun is shining lol. Sorry for always going on about the weather but living in England we party when the sun is shining. Phoebe is slowly settling into school but I think she still misses me :). I have a lot of time to myself but don't seem to get a lot done - kinda feel a little lost all on my own. Time to go back to work again I think.
I have a boy card for you today. We tend to do mainly girly cards and forget about the other half. Besides I have a few male cards to get done and one of those for my boyfriend who absolutely LOVES motorbikes. So I am on the look-out for the perfect image. Any suggestions? hehe
This image is TGF - isn't he super! Coloured him with promarkers and used a lot of my scrap papers (have a big box-full like the rest of you), pc generated words and buttons to complete the card. I hope you like it and it will be entered into the following challenges
Anyone for Anya - Blue/Green/Beige
Digital Tuesday - Sports
Stamp with fun - Sketch

Bloom
Good morning Monday!
Grey and dull again here and it's turning rather cool. Usually September is nice and sunny but not at the moment. I hope you all had a super week-end. Didn't do much my end apart from the usual "mummy" duties lol.
I managed to make this card yesterday and I just love autumn colours. They are very rich but calming at the same time. This little image is Hanglar and they are just adorable. Coloured with Promarkers again - so many colours still to get lol. The papers are from stash (might be Basic Grey and MME). Flowers are Prima attached with a brad. I used organza ribbon from stash and the little gems are from Bunny-Zoe's. Sentiment is from a K & Co tin I got a while back.
I am entering this card into the following challenges
Hanglar - Layered
Paper Sundae - 3 different embellishments
Allsorts challenge - Autumn colours
Sweet Stop - Sketch

Happy Birthday!!!
Good morning Sunday!
Have woken up with the sun streaming into my room - makes a change from waking up to grey, damp mornings. However, afternoons have been sunny and bright so I hope this afternoon doesn't turn grey. Been busy getting the mountain of clothing down to ground level - lol, who am I kidding - with 3 kids that's impossible. Was rather tired yesterday evening so just watched X-factor auditions and went early to be. Woke up at 3 am and both my sons were still up playing games - grrrrrrr.
For ages now I have been in love with Amy Youngs images and I have several of them in digi-form but would you believe I have never made a card with them. So I decided it was about time I used one for a card. This little fairy is called Oleander and she is part of the Twisted Sisters and available HERE in digi and HERE in rubber (UK).
Although summer is officially open I decided I wanted some bright and happy colours. She has been coloured with Promarkers. The papers are Cosmo Cricket "Garden Variety". The flowers are punched and used gem, button and brad for the center.
I will enter this card into the following challenges
Friday Sketcher - Sketch
Totally Gorjuss - Flowers
Stamp Something - Spots and stripes
Digital Tuesday - Dots and stripes
Everybody Art Challenge - Handmade flowers
Thank you for dropping by and hope you enjoy your Sunday, Mette

Fairy Wonderful
Good morning Saturday!!
Still grey and damp here - I really hope the weather will turn around so I can do some washing. With 3 kids I always have a mountain lol. And Phoebe's uniform needs washing too, ready for next week. She has enjoyed her first week at school although dropping her of has been rather tearful. But that is understandable as she has never really spent a long time away from me.
Anyhoo, onto my card for today. I made this for a few challenges. This sweet image is called "Flutterby Fairy" and she is a fee digi by Meljen. I got her HERE. Coloured her with Promarker - I am slowly getting the hang of these :). The papers are from Basic Grey (various designs), flowers from Prima and the buttons and ribbons are from my stash. Although you can't see it (I scan my cards) I have added some glitter - every fairy needs glitter and the sweet sentiment is by TLC.
Well, that it from me today and I hope you enjoyed the card. Entered it into the following challenges
Papertake Weekly - Sketch
Flutterby Wednesday - Pink
I {heart} Promarkers - Transport
Cute Card Thursday - Play on Words
Thank you for dropping by and enjoy your day, Mette

Sassy Cheryl - Snow
Good morning Thursday!
Not a very nice day again here in Derbyshire. It's quite cool and the sun has trouble getting through the clouds. Today is the 3rd day without Phoebe at home. It;s a little upsetting when she bursts into tears at school but I hope she will settle in soon. Her teacher tells me she's fine during the day which is a comfort.
This is another christmas card as christmas is rapidly approaching. I wanted to join in with Sassy Cheryl's challenge again this week which is Snow. Now Cheryl draws the most wonderful snowmen - they are funny and quirky but as I was looking thro her winter images I found this little girl. Isn't she just adorable? Haven't we all seen our kids dressed in too many clothes for a day in the snow. Her name is Tiny Tabitha and she's available HERE.
She has been coloured with Promarkers. The papers I found in the shop in Derby market. It's by GCD Studios and called Joyful Peace. It's beautiful colours, foiled, embossed and textured. Just gorgeous. I have used a feebie sentiment by TLC and the flowers are from my dear friend Linda :). I hope you like today card as much as I did making it.
Thank you so much for dropping by and have a lovely day, Mette

Girly Girl
Oh my gosh!! 2 posts in 1 day is criminal hehe.
Have 5 min before Phoebe is going to bed so thought I would post this card I made for Lil Lolita Boutique challenge where the theme is Girly Girl. Who doesn't like making a girly card full of pink and flowers. I used 60's Hippi Willow which is available HERE. Mine is a digital image but I believe Bunny-Zoe now stock these.
Willow is coloured with Promarkers and I used different papers from my stash. A ribbon and punched flower with a sweet button to make it even more girly and of course the perfect sentiment :). Hope you like her.
Thank you for dropping by and enjoy the rest of your day, Mette
Totally Tilda - Lilac and Lace
Good afternoon Tuesday!!
My little girl had her first day at school today and that was hard on us both. Her because she is very tired and me because I missed her like crazy hehe. But I am sure we will both get into the swing of things soon.
Magnolia's Tilda was the very first stamp I fell in love with when I first started stamping 2 years ago. Since then we are now spoiled for choice but Tilda is still as sweet as ever. This card is for Totally Tilda Challenge blog and this week the ask that you use Lilac and Lace. My Tilda is from the Bon Voyage Collection and she has been coloured with promarkers. All the papers are from my scrap box, the flowers are die-cuts covered with DP and I have used a button and a clear gem. The lace I have had for ages and I think it's beautiful. I hope you like my card.
Thank you for dropping by and I wish you a pleasant evening, Mette

You're way Cool
Good morning Sunday.
Finally got my computer back after 14 days and boy am I glad to get all my stored stuff back (downloaded papers, digis etc). Been using the laptop but I don't have things stored on that.
Friday we took Phoebe to Gulliver's Kingdom in Matlock, Derbyshire, It's a theme park for children under 12. Boy - did she love that. We went on most of the rides and daddy even got stuck in one lol - he has very broad shoulders (body-building lol). Well, the picture above shows her favorite ride - the Merry-go-round. We left with a happy little girl who's face was painted as a pink cat and she was wearing a glittery cowgirl hat (yes - I have glitter everywhere).
This is my card for today. This cutie is called Friday and she is from The Greeting Farm available HERE. I made her for this week's Quixotic challenge Black, white and ??. I choose red. She has been coloured with Promarkers and layered onto different papers. The flower is from Prima and a die-cut. Sentiment is one of my favorites from TLC. I just love these little Creepy girls :)).
Thank you for dropping by and hope you have a lovely sunday, Mette

Trick or Treat
Good morning Thursday!!
What a miserable start. It's misty, grey and cold this morning. Have been spoiled with 3 days of sun lol. Yesterday was really busy. Had to go to Derby to get school equipment for my boys and I found a little craft shop in the indoor market. Lol - it's been there for 2 years and I never knew but I shall be making more frequent trips to Derby from now. Normally I hate shopping lol. Wasn't able to spend a long time in the shop as the boys were going "Come on Mum - this is boring"!!!
Well, today's card is for Halloween. In Denmark we never celebrate halloween although my mum has told me that it's started thanks to US movies hehe. This image is by Sassy Cheryl and called Witches Broom - isn't she super?? You can get her and others HERE. She has been coloured with Promarkers, the papers are from Bo Bunny. Flowers are from Prima and the sentiments is done on my PC. This card will be entered into Sassy Cheryl's Challenge which this week is Halloween/Autumn.
Did this little witch scare you??? Who am I kidding - of course not lol.
Thank you for dropping by and enjoy your day, Mette

Good morning Tuesday!!
I can't believe it's the end of August already. Where does the time fly? It seems to me that the older I am getting the fast time is moving lol. Well, at least we are finally having a little sunshine. August is usually a wash-out and September turn out beautiful. But enough of my morning rambles.
I have wanted a Lil Lolita stamp for a long time but ordering them from Australia was a bit expensive so when the opportunity came to get them in digital I got several. They are available HERE.

Have a magical christmas
Hope you all had a good weekend. I didn't do much since my car was still at the mechanics and my PC is still not sorted. So I had 2 bored teenagers who on Sunday multiplied :(. I ended up hiding in my room hehe.
However, the week is starting pretty well. Picked up my car earlier and although it has cost a lot I am pleased to have it back. I have spent the afternoon making Blackberry Jam - yummy!!!!! Nothing taste as nice a s home-made so will be baking bread tomorrow :)).
Anyhow, my card today is another christmas card for my box. I received this lovely fairy/angel from Wags'n'whiskers - her name is Angelica. Isn't she gorgeous??? And such a joy to colour. I used my Promarkers (hey - practise makes perfect as they say), a lot of stickle hehe, some glitter card, papers I have had for ages together with a white Organza ribbon, flower and button. Quite please how this turned out and will entering the card into the following challenges

You Rock!!
This month is definately turning into a total nightmare lol. Firstly the kids are of school, secondly the car broke down and I am having to lay out 175.00 GBP for repair and MOT. Now my main PC is out of action and we have to use the laptop. It doesn't have a lot of memory so won't hold my sons computer game and now they are moaning. Wonder what will happen next as accidents usually comes in three :((.
One good thing was my son's AS results - A in biology and D in Chemistry and PE. Hopefully the this year will be just as good for him as he wants to go to Uni next summer.
Anyhow, enough of my grumbles. You wanna be entertained not listening to my rambles so here is my card for today. I made this for my son as a Well Done card and this super image from Simply Betty is just right for a 17 year old boy. Isn't he great?? He's coloured with Promarkers and papers used are Bo Bunny together with unknown. The stickers are all from stash and perfect for this card.
Did you know that Simply Betty is having a DT Call for her Challenge blog which will be starting September 15th.
I am entering this card into the following challenges
Stamp Something - Digi day
Stampin for the weekend - Anything goes
Thank you for dropping by and hope you have a lovely day, Mette

Being Fabulous ........................
Okay - I am now getting to the stage where it would be nice if the kids went BACK TO SCHOOL. 2 teenage boys and a 4 year old can drive you up the wall. The boys are constantly eating and my daughter is making a mess, constantly. In between I do manage to make a few cards so ..............
This is one of the fabulous images from Kenny K. I totally love these - have a huge thing for quirky atm. And this is my second attempt colouring with Promarkers and I am rather please how it turned out. I must admit that Star's clothes is done by Paper piecing and it turned out rather kool. The papers are Basic Grey "Lime Rickey", ribbon and buttons from stash and the super kool sentiment from TLC.
I am entering this card into the following challenges
Kenny K Bright and Bold
Stamptacular Buttons and bows
Allsorts Paper Piecing

Just Magnolia #68
Good afternoon! Hope you're all having a wonderful Sunday afternoon. Here it's finnaly turning out to be a day WITHOUT rain although it's not brilliant. Last night my 2 wonderful sons + 1 4 year daughter + a sweet oldest son's girlfriend did a belated surprise birthday party for me. My oldest son and his girlfriend were in France on my big day so they made a buffet and got the tastiest cake eva!!!! I must admit I did shed a few tears.
Anyway, my card today is for the Just Magnolia challenge and there is a super sketch. I have coloured the image with my newly aquired Promarkers and it's a first time ever for me (I usually use Prisma pencils). I am quite happy with my first try but realise I need more practising before it's how I like it. I hand-drew the brick wall as I felt she needed something to sit on otherwise she'd be hovering in mid-air lol. The paper is Basic Grey "Sugar Rush", the sentiment and flower from K & Co. I have used Crystal Stickles on her wings and a small gem on the flower. The ribbon is a piece of scrap from my stash.
Thank you for dropping by and hope you have a lovely day, Mette

Elisabeth Bell digi Design Team Call + 4 challenges
Good morning!! It's Monday and last week was a mixture of highs and deep lows. I celebrated my 50th birthday on the 5th and had a lovely day. However, on Friday my car broke down while out and about and Mr RAC told me that the Cam-belt had broken. Bye bye car - you have been a faithful servant for the past 10 years. Living in the country it's not easy getting around without a car especially with limited public transport.
Anyways, my card today is first for a DT Call for the very talented Elisabeth Bell. She's looking for a DT to promote her gorgeous digi stamps and I used one of her latest "I love you this much". Isn't she gorgeous?? She reminds me of Julia Andrews in Sound of Music singing The Hills are alive .......... You can find her HERE together with other lovely images.
I have coloured her with my Prisma pencils as usual although I did receive Promarkers for my birthday but need some more practising before posting anything for you ladies hehe. Used a lot of different papers from my stash and a punched flower with a button. The sentiment is from Hero's Art.

Kenny K #4 + Sweet Stop Sketches #67
Good morning all. It's another dull and grey morning here. Was woken up at 6.30 AM by my son who has been camping overnight. He was freezing and wanted his bed lol.
For my card today I have used 1 of the new images from KennyK. This 1 is called Lady Raven. Isn't she just fabulous. I love Kenny's illustrations. They are so sassy and grown up.
I coloured her with my Prisma pencils and used papers, ribbons and a key charm from stash. The sentiment is from TLC, I just love her sometimes quirky sentiments. Entering this card into

Mo's #42 - Dare U 2 digi #43 - Digital Tuesday #69 and Stamp Something
Good morning. It's monday and the 1st of August. Summer seems to have deserted us and a lot of challenge themes atm is "Christmas in July". Seems like a good excuse to get a few more cards made before the winter and the last minute panic christmas cards.
This adorable little girl is "Pamela's Stocking" from Mo's Digital Shop. Isn't sahe just the sweetest?? I have coloured her with prisma pencils and blender. The papers, glitter paper, ribbon and snowflakes are all from stash. The sweet sentiment is from Elzybells, who are sadly closing down and having a sale. I have used glitter glue and Crackle Accent.
