Yes, it's me again.

Anyone interest in a 6 year old and a 16 year old??? They are driving me crazy, and those 2 are most certainly not poorly anymore. He's is teasing her and you know 6 year old girls - they can scream for England (insert own country here). So I am hiding in my little room, surfing and do a little crafting, pretending I have been abducted by aliens :).

Journey like no other - UNITY FwF

Good morning all.

This is, unfortunately, a really quick card from me. Feelin rotten - oh yes, seems I got the virus the kids had but I am not able to laze in bed :(. I still gotta do the washing, cleaning and cooking so I'm gonna make this quick.

I have been wanting to try something new in my card-making and signed up for Unity's STAMP OF THE WEEK. I must say I am not disappointed and loving the stamps I receive each week :). So

this is my card for the day ......



........ using Journey like no other. The sentiment is stamped with versamark and embossed. Butterfly in stamped twice using Ranger Ink and the top layer is decorated with gold pen and stickle. A matching ribbon completes this card. I am actually quiet pleased how this turned out :) so will be posting this on the Unity Friends with Flair post.

Good morning ladies.

.......... I have use the lovely Frida. She's a dream to colour and you can really go crazy lol. I have used some cardstock with kraft and a small scrap of pattern papers I have had for years lol. A little stickle will glam up any card and the lovely sentiment is from DT lady Abby who has her own line of cling stamps and can be found HERE. I know it's in spanish but that just makes it extra fun :).

Good morning Ladies.Just a quick post from me as I still have 2 poorly kids - getting better but best to be on the safe side I think. And it's another miserable day here - wet and grey, they have said we can expect April to be a complete wash-out :(. Here's hoping May will bring lots of warmth and sun.

Still busy sorting my stamps and cataloguing - feel really ashamed that I have so many images, both rubber and digital, and I don't use half of them. Finding lots of little gems and I am in the process of thinking of a good way to start using them (possibly a showcase week where I would show one letter (A, B etc) per week - not sure yet). I need to find a much much better place to store my digitals, too risky on the PC if things go wrong. A disc per letter (A, B, etc)??

Anyways, before Nurse here has to start working again, here is today's card ......

......... I do love The Greeting Farm stamps. They are fun to colour and would be brilliant for SMASH'ing once I get time. This little girl hasn't been coloured as I am entering her into ....

Good morning all.

Welcome to sick bay :(. I have both my kids home from school today. Phoebe was really poorly last night. When she gets a cold she struggles to breath and it's ever so scrary. I always have her inhaler ready but it's not nice for neither her nor me. So we have had a restless night.
James had a bad throat infection and a fever so he won't be going to school either. And me - well, hopefully I won't get it as there is noone to look after me lol.

Good morning all.

Brrrr - it's cold here. And grey and wet so the question is ....... WHO STOLE SPRING and could you please bring it back.

Had a very quiet week-end and did a lot of DT work and the not so interesting ironing lol. But I do feel better once all the clothes is washing and neatly put away. It doesn't last long I know and I have a feeling it'll only get worse once Phoebe get's bigger and tries on her entire wardrope before going to school. As for now I am happy she wears a uniform and we only have different opinions about socks or tights :).

Lil Lolita 30s

Good morning all.

Having a very lazy week-end apart from the usual mommy duties. Phoebe has a cold and is feeling a little out of sorts. And it has been the first week back at school after a 2 week holiday so she's tired I bet.

So we are just taking it easy and my day today will primarily be used for ironing - oh yes, I managed to get the washing done in between the showers lol.

My niece and her husband are now in Florida and are looking for somewhere to live at the moment. They are both young and he's a very out-going and determind guy so I am sure everything will be fine. He's gone to the US for Helicopter pilot training, which will take him 1 1/2 years and cost a small fortune (but still cheaper than doing it in Denmark, even WITH living expenses). My neice is educated as a hairdresser/beautician and is hoping to be able to work too. I think my sister will miss her daughter as they are very close.

Anyho, enough of my rambles - here's my card for today .......

KETTO parade

Good morning all.

Well, yesterday was a yo-yo day. Was rushing in and out of the garden taking washing down dues to a shower and hanging back out again lol. I am sure neighbours thought I was barking mad - me yelling "my washing, my washing" and cursing the rain. And today's looks about the same. Only difference is I now have the kids at home who'll both be laughing at their silly mummy. But I like to have empty wash basket and clean, fresh clothes by the end of Sunday in preparation for the coming week.

And it occurs to me I talk a lot about the weather - goes to show how "english" I have become after living here 23 years. Phew! - thank goodness I am going home for 3 weeks in August lol. And believe me - I cannot wait.

Good morning all.

What ..... no rain today?! I think it's a trick to make me do the washing and hang it out before the big down-pour lol. Well, the washing is out so we just have to wait and see, it has gone rather dark :).

It's finally Friday - been a funny week with the kids back at school. Phoebe hasn't quiet settled back in (wants to stay home with mum) and I am getting used to the house being quiet. And I am getting some quality crafting time. Don't have any plans this week-end so will be doing a little chilling with my princess.

Good morning all.

Unity MArch 2012

Good afternoon ladies,

Whoa - who else had the heavens open yesterday evening??? It turned very black with thunder and lightning and hailed for like 20-30 min. Spooky lol. I did turn of all majot electrical appliances - the TV and the computers.

I am going to be so HAPPY once the kids go back to school. Been running around after them tidying, feeding, cleaning, washing etc and Miss Motor-mouth has been keeping my ears busy - non-stop lol. It will be nice getting some peace and quiet back and the ability to think again without interruptions. So needless to say I have not been able to do a lot of crafting - and my stamps are in a muddle while I am sorting them.

I did however, receive some stamps I ordered and made this card .........

Good evening all.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter although the weather here in the UK hasn't been the best. I have been really busy with all kids here over the past 2 weeks. Ben's going back to Uni on Sunday and then he has his exams during May. James is also preparing for lots of exams in May and June so a lot of studying.

I have been busy cataloguing my stamps and digis (ashamed to say there are lots which have never been used). Found some fabulous storage boxes for my rubber and hopefully one day I will be able to take piccies and show them. I am not nearly finished yet but determined to get it done asap and then working a system which means I will use old rubber and digis too.

Well, how are you all liking the School Pinkette preview so far?! Pretty cute aren't they :).

I have a tiny moment to post a few cards before it's back to being "Da Slave". Yup, with schools being off there is no rest for me and I have Ben home from Uni now and guess what he brought ............ yup, his washing lol. Should have been last week when the weather was nice. Luckily James is at work (he is earning a few pennies in his easter break).

Just wanted to share this card .......



......... I made last week. I love this image which is excellent for sisters, mothers and friends. I put it together for the D'Arcy challenge "ribbon and lace" which I do not use a lot so I hope this turned out ok.

Well, I am off to do my food shopping online - it's a lot easier than going to the shops. My stamp cataloguing is still a work in progress (don't get a lot of me-time) and still looking for that perfect storage system.

Today it's the boy's turn - meet JESSIE. Isn't he just the koolest. Personally I think he's adorable but don't tell him I said so.



I decided to make a folder tag for this, on the back are all the vital details such as Subject, Class room no. and day/time. Attach to appropriate folder and your budding Einstein will never miss a lesson hehe. I am getting mine laminated for better wear (my son is terrible at looking after his school books, folders and pens).
