Magnolia Lovers

It's amazing the chaos 2 sick children can cause in your household, especially when you have to wash a lot of bedlinen. Fortunately the sun is shining so it isn't that bed apart from the fact that it's been here since Friday (the sickness I mean). Not been able to do much crafting nor blogging but have found time to make this card for a challenge I found. It's called Magnolia Lovers and I am entering this card for their challenge Red, White and Blue.
The image is a sweet sailor Tilda who has been coloured using Prisma pencils and blender. The papers are a mix of MME and K & Co although the background I made myself by stamping ships and words and embossing them. The flowers are from Prima and the sentiment I found in my stash.

Thank you for dropping by and have a lovely say, Mette

Some of you may already know this but there is a new digi stamp designer available and his images are pretty kool. I first saw Kenny's designs over on Rach's blog and it was love at first sight. I quickly purchsed one HERE and found that Kenny and Elena are setting up a new challenge blog and are looking for a design team. Details can be found HERE. i thought I would have a go and enter the card below into this.

This image is called "Troublemaker" and she has been coloured using Prisma pencils. I used a variety of papers from my stash (Basic Grey and K & Co) and the flowers are from Prima. They have been altered with ink and glitter glue. I am also entering this card into the Colour Create challenge.

Thank you for dropping by and hope you have a lovely day, Mette

Good afternoon all!
This is gonna have to be a super quick post as my sons will be home any minute from school and that means no more blogging for me hehe.

I attached my Prima flowers which has been decorated with ink and glitter glue together with a gem. The blue ribbon I got cheap from my local craft shop. I am entering this card into 4 challenges ..............

Cute Card Thursday 117

Just a quick post today with this card I made for Friday Sketchers.
I used this super digi image who is called "Chi" from TiddlyInks and she's available HERE. I thought she was perfect for paper piercing. I assembled my card with Basic Grey "Lemonade" paper using the sketch over at Cute Card Thursday. I think she's so pretty she really doesn't need any embellishment (or maybe she does??)

Bunny Zoe's Challenge and Belles'n'whistles challenge

What a Saturday Morning!! Been up since 6 am when Phoebe woke up crying. Her plaster was removed on Thursday and she still won't use her arm cos she's worried it'll hurt. Naturally it's feeling a little funny after being immobile for 2 weeks - well she's only 4. Then I had a complete blond moment downloading a new digi stamp I bought. Luckily they were really nice sending me a replacement :)). Then had to pick son of from Cromford train station (close to Matlock). He has been walking and camping since Thursday for his trail run for Duke of Edinburgh's silver. He is now fast asleep after some proper food and a hot shower.
Now I have 5 min peace before the dreaded weekly food shop and this card I am entering into Bunny Zoe's monthly challenge "nice and girly" and Belles'n'Whistles challenge "Buttons and Bows". I absolutely love this image "Beary Big Hugs". As usual I have used my Prisma colours and she has been matted and layered with paper from stash. The buttons and ribbons I usually get from the local friday market.
I hope you like it.

1 card for 3 challenges

I know I am not the only one who finds "male" cards a little difficult to make but little guys are easier than mens. My daughter's friend is 4 soon and with a super sketch from Lili of the Valley challenge it wasn't too bad. This little guy has been coloured using my Prisma pencils and blender (got myself a few new colours and slowly getting the complete range). The papers are all from stash as are the buttons, sentiment and number sticker. I think he's just perfect for little adventurers.

Challenges:-

Lili of the Valley #55 - sketch
Totally Gorjuss #34 - for the boyz
Cupcake Challenge #95 - for the boyz

Tickled Pink Challenge #2

I quite like monthly challenges as it gives you a while to make a project. This card and bookmark is for the new Tickled Pink Challenge. There is a super sketch to follow and you get the chance to win a fabulous prize.
I have used the quirky Genevieve from Kraftin' Kimmie. She has been coloured with Prisma pencils. I used different papers to follow the sketch. The flowers are Prima e-line and the ribbons from stash. For the bookmark I used Clear Choice stamps "Journey" for the words and Genevieve accessory stamp. Finally I added a little glitter glue. I am happy with how this turned out - hope you like her too.

Lovely Hanglar #1

Another post from me today which means I have managed to get some quality crafting time. And that doesn't happen very often lol.
There is a new challenge in Bloggerland - Lovely Hanglar Only. The name is self-explanatory really. Their first challenge is a colour combo using pink and green which do work so well together.
I have coloured the image with Prisma pencils and used blender. The image is layered onto a mixture of papers from stash. I used a lovely Prima e-line flower attached with a brad and a ribbon from stash. Hope you like her.

Thank you for dropping by and have a lovely dat, Mette

Whiff of Joy #80

With father's day quickly approaching I was a little at a loss ad to what to make until I saw this little guy. My daughter thinks her daddy is a big super hero and Spider Henry is just perfect. He is a free digi download from Katharina and can be found HERE.
I coloured him using Prisma pencils and blender. I used the lovely sketch over at the Whiff of Joy challenge and will enter this card there. The papers are from my stash and the sentiment is computer generated. Hope you like him.
