Drucilla

Good morning all.

Did you enjoy yesterday's release?? There will be a lot more to show over the next few days so keep looking out for it.

Well, the kids are off school this week so don't get a lot of time to craft nor blog. Phoebe is easily bored so I have to keep her entertained and I tell you, it gets harder and harder playing princesses when you feel like a granny lol. At 51 I don't excactly feel like Sleeping Beauty :).

I did get a little time the other day and decided to try some experimenting. I am not sure whether it worked but it does look better in RL ......

......... I stamped Drucilla with Versamark and then embossed with WOW! white embossing powder. I used my Promarkers for colouring but didn't want a lot. I rather like how this turned out but not entirely sure - what do you think?!

It's quite out of the ordinary to emboss a character stamp! It almost has the look of a negative. Very interesting!

"Drucilla" absolutely pops right off the page by being embossed! Clever! I love all the small details that you incorporate into your card (faux stitchin, hat pins, brads). Thanks for sharing your card with us this week at Unscripted Sketches :)
