Good morning all.

Did you enjoy yesterday's release?? There will be a lot more to show over the next few days so keep looking out for it.

Well, the kids are off school this week so don't get a lot of time to craft nor blog. Phoebe is easily bored so I have to keep her entertained and I tell you, it gets harder and harder playing princesses when you feel like a granny lol. At 51 I don't excactly feel like Sleeping Beauty :).

I did get a little time the other day and decided to try some experimenting. I am not sure whether it worked but it does look better in RL ......



......... I stamped Drucilla with Versamark and then embossed with WOW! white embossing powder. I used my Promarkers for colouring but didn't want a lot. I rather like how this turned out but not entirely sure - what do you think?!

Grand release - a blog hop - prizes and more

Happy Valentines Day!!

My card is for introduction only and nor part of the blog hop but wanted to show the fabulous new images from LMM, gorgeously intricate lacercut chipboard from MiC and there are some beautiful sentiments from Whimsy stamps



On my card I have used Le Petite Princesse and teamed her up with some Basic Grey papers. I have used one of the lovely chipboards from MiC and coloured it with Promarkers.
9 of the new images will also be available in RUBBER!!! Yes,Barbara has had her arm twisted and is releasing 9 rubber stamps for all you die-hard rubba-lovers :)

Some Changes

Wryn - Grow a little love

Good morning all.

Yet another dull day here but at least it's not so cold anymore. The kids are off school for the week so I will be spending a lot of time playing princesses or my favorite "mummy and baby" games lol. I must admit I can't always follow my daughter's imagination but then again - I am getting a little old lol.

Today my gran is being moved from the nursing home to a hospice. It will be good for her as at the nursing home they don't have time (or staff) to take individual care of her but at the hospice she will get assigned her own member of staff who only looks after her. My sister tells me she just sits and "sleeps" all the time waiting to turn 90 in March. After that it's anyone's guess how long she's gonna wanna live. I think she lost her will to live when she lost independence.

Anyways, here is my little card for today ...........

........... this is one of the cutest little girls around. I have teamed her up with another cute image. The tag slides inside a little opening under the image - thought it was a neat touch. I will enter this into the TIDDLY INK CHALLENGE.

The Key to my Heart

Good morning all.

Devastated by this morning news. The wonderfully talented and much loved Ms Whitney Houston is dead. She has and always will be my favorite and will be missed but at least still have her music ...

Lulu's morning Fix

Good morning all.

It's a glorious yet freezing day here. Gonna go for a walk later just to enjoy the sun and clean air - yes, I live in the Countryside. Ben is home AGAIN this weekend so will be busy spoiling him and the other 2 :).
Half-term has started so next week will be less crafting and surfing, more cleaning and being general maid.

I totally forgot about this card but am posting it now ....

Dilly Bean Friday Challenge

Afternoon all.

I really wish it would start to warm up just a little. It's ever so cold lol.

Anyhow, it's friday which is always a good thing. For starters the weekend is here to cheer us up and secondly it's another DILLY BEAN FRIDAY CHALLENGE. This week the theme is ..................... yup, Love is in the air and this is my card



..... isn't she fabulous. I absolutely love her and she makes such a wonderful image for love cards. She is available HERE together with other gorgeous images and Megan has just added some new ones - they are gorgeous :).
