KETTO frog

Good morning all.

Well, James is back at school although he did say his stomach was still hurting. Phoebe on the other hand had to stay home for another day - still coughing badly. Seems to be better as the day wears on so I think I will have my peace back tomorrow :).

Ben's PC and other stuff was picked up last night by his dad so I am slowly starting to get my house sorted. Having a complete clear out of anything no longer needed and a good tidy. Sometimes I need to do this to get my life back on track again lol.

Today's card ......

Materials used: KETTO frog from Stamping Bella - Papermania card-stock

Challenges

Dynamic Duo - Limeade and black
Retro Sketch - sketch

Thank you for dropping by and have a great day. Hugs, Mette

KETTO parade

Good morning all.

Well, yesterday was a yo-yo day. Was rushing in and out of the garden taking washing down dues to a shower and hanging back out again lol. I am sure neighbours thought I was barking mad - me yelling "my washing, my washing" and cursing the rain. And today's looks about the same. Only difference is I now have the kids at home who'll both be laughing at their silly mummy. But I like to have empty wash basket and clean, fresh clothes by the end of Sunday in preparation for the coming week.

And it occurs to me I talk a lot about the weather - goes to show how "english" I have become after living here 23 years. Phew! - thank goodness I am going home for 3 weeks in August lol. And believe me - I cannot wait.

So here is my card for today ......

....... bot too sure about the colours but I do love it. I have used my KETTO girls (and found somewhere in the UK who sell a lot :) ). They are just so darn cute and I love 'em all. I am entering this into

The Pink Elephant - Photo inspiration

Ida Lulu

Good morning all.

Well, this morning one of the other mum's called EARLY and asked if I would do her "math's game" for her as her son was poorly which I am quiet happy to do. Turned out my services wouldn't be needed this morning as another mum had been "pursuaded" (bullied more likely) by her kids to do it lol. So I feel kinda likea loose cannon this morning and might have a clean up in some of my craft drawers. A better storage system is in order otherwise I "forget" what I have.

TODAY's card .....

...... isn't she just brilliant!? I totally love her and made this using the fabulous sketch at STAMPING BELLA. Have used a little paper piecing. This will be a birthday card for my dad's wife - she'll love it :).

MATERIALS USED

Ida Lulu from Stamping Bella
White CS
Basic Grey "hello luscious"
scrap for piecing

Lulu's morning Fix

Good morning all.

It's a glorious yet freezing day here. Gonna go for a walk later just to enjoy the sun and clean air - yes, I live in the Countryside. Ben is home AGAIN this weekend so will be busy spoiling him and the other 2 :).
Half-term has started so next week will be less crafting and surfing, more cleaning and being general maid.

I totally forgot about this card but am posting it now ....

.... this is Lulu's morning Fix from Stamping Bella and I love her. Mind you - I love all her stamps :). I will enter this in the "Anything goes" challenge using last week's sketch :).

King of the Wild Things

Good morning all.

You know the thing when you are trying to get your washing done and preferably dried outside in between raint days .............. well, yesterday was such a day. I don't like my washing drying inside (gets all stiff) so I always keep an eye on the weather lol. Luckily I managed to get most of it done yesterday knowing that we are in for some yuk weather.

Ben came home again yesterday evening :) - I love having him here and he admits that, although he loves univesity life, he still misses home. It was his birthday on Thursday and it felt strange him not being here. We will have a little celebration tonight - he wants curry and cake hehe.

Well enough of my silly ramblings - here is today's card .............

................. isn't he great?! I love his costume - my neighbour's son has a Gruffalo costume. I followed the colour challenge over at TIDDLY INK CHALLENGES and will keep this card for the right person :). I know this is a Stamping Bella stamp but I am sure he sprang from Christy's imagination.

Good morning all.

Just a real quick post from me today as rushed off my feet again. Just been for a long walk with my kids (James couldn't possibly live without Call of Duty 3 on Xbox).

Just came online to share these tags I made for THE PINK ELEPHANT challenge.....

......... I love these cute Ketto stamps. They are just perfect for cards and tags for little girls and since Phoebe goes to quiet a few parties I need to make more. And these tags are also brilliant for using up some of the scrap I have accumulated :).

Anise

Good morning all.

it's so nice having Ben in the house again. Somehow everything feels right again lol. I do miss him but I know he's having a brilliant time living his own life and he's loving Uni. I think it helps having 2 other kids at home still - the real test will come once Phoebe leaves. As she's only 5 I am not worried yet lol.

Looks like the sun didn't listen to the weather report this morning. It was suppose to rain but I am NOT complaining. It's really mild here considering it's the beginning of November. Omg - I had better get on with making some more christmas cards.

Alas, this is not one of them lol. Made this using the sketch at CLEAN AND SIMPLE ..........

.................. they are just so ........... clean and simple :). Used one of the little Ketto stamps I got resently at a very reasonable price. I think they are great for smaller cards and especially for quick little notes. Phoebe likes them and has coloured up a few to give to friends at school - "but not the boys Mum, they don't like pretty". I would like to enter this into BOWS'N'BERRIES and KORT'O'MANIA who are both asking to see CAS.

MATERIALS USED

Anise from Stamping Bella
White, pink and kraft cardstock
MME designer papers
Sentiment from Papersmooches Chubby Chum set

You're Unique

Good afternoon all.

Boy I ache all over tonight. Been clearing out James' bedroom and then painted and scrubbed to get it ready for Phoebe. Still got a few things to get to make it girly, need to paint another shelf pink and then get everything hung up - including a lovely pink daisy flower wall lamp from Ikea. Well, I am totally useless with a drill - I can manage certain DIY jobs but that I can't do. So I am gonna have to wait for my ex to be able to come and do a little drilling (that sounds so wrong lol and I do mean the walls). I am sure it'll look nice once done.
At the moment she's on my floor screaming and having one of her temper-tantrum cos I only gave her 1 sheet of my nice cardstock.

Anyho, been making a few inchie cards for the challenge at TIDDLY INK. I totally loved making these - small cards are so gratifying. I am gonna make a lot more of these as they are so useful for so many things. These I will save for when my daughter has an occasion to say thank you.

MATERIALS USED

You're Unique stamp for Stamping Bella available from Quixotic
Papers are tiny pieces of scrap which I know we all collect :)
Sentiment handwritten

Thank you for visiting my little cloud and hope you enjoy your day. Hugs, Mette

Color Create #38

It's not easy to find time to craft at the moment as the days don't seem to have enough hours in them lol. But in between ill kids, cooking, cleaning and be general slave for 3 demanding kids I do manage to do a little.

This card was made for the color create challenge which required the use of Red, chocolate, white and Pink. So my card is a valentine's card to CHOCOLATE. Although I try to restrict myself to Saturdays only to indulge in this yummy love affair lol.

Ingredients:
Image: Stamping Bella
Papers: MME "Be Loved"
Flower: Prima
Colouring: Prisma + blender
Glitterglue for the icing on the cake
Thank you for popping by my little cloud. Hope you have a lovely day, Mette
