Daisy
Good morning all.
Whoa - someone turn the speed down please. Not sure if I am coming or going I am that busy at the moment. Really can't wait for the kids to go back to school next week so I can get a little "me-time" again. Good job I work ahead on my DT jobs lol.
Anyway, today is a new challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and this week we have a sketch. It's nice to work to a sketch and maybe even adept it to your own needs sometimes. But if you need a little inspiration why not head over to the blog and check out the DT ladies awesome creations.
We would love for you to join us but remember, to be in with a chance of winner the prize you need to use a Little Miss Muffet image, Pollycraft image or Bugaboo image. All details are on the blog and our super images are available HERE. And to make it even easier for you to join our challenges Barbara is offering a new freebie every Saturday.
Supplies
Stamps: Daisy (digital); C.C. Designs "Amy R" Sentiment (rubber)
Paper: American Craft cs; MiC blending card; Crate Paper dp
Twine
Sequins
Pearls
Promarkers
Thank you for dropping by and have a nice day.

Beachy Beatrice
Good morning all.
Another week and you wouldn't believe we are in June. More like October/November. Just hope we'll get more sun for when the kids break up for the summer holidays.
The boys have been monopolising the TV since Friday now that EURO 2012 is in full swing. Just hope that England will do well tonight otherwise there will be a very depressed male population here tomorrow lol. I am ok as Denmark managed to beat Holland - a huge surprise as we are the underdogs in that group.
Had a few nice days so managed to get all my washing done - downside is that a pile of ironing is now waiting for me - maybe a little later.
Anyways, my card for today is .......

........ and feaures one of the new releases from CC Design "Beachy Beatrice". I love her as she so reminds me of Phobebe playing in the sand in Denmark a few years back. Isn't she just so cute!? And fun to colour too.
Materials used: Beachy Beatrice from All that scrap - Papermania CS - Echo Park "Paradise" - Ribbon - Unity Stamp sentiment - Glitter Glue
Challenges
Digital Tuesday - Anything goes
I love Promarkers - for a little girl
ATS Wednesday challenge - Anything goes
Send a smile for kids - Bright Colours
Totally Gorjuss - Sunshine
Thank you for dropping by and have a fab day. Hugs, Mette

Laugh Lines Flower
Good morning all from a sunny Derbyshire.
Well, it's a grogeous day (so far)here and the sun is shining. Unfortunately my princess has a bad cold and can't stop coughing so I am keeping her home today. Her breathing gets effected when she has a cold.
My gran's funeral service was on Saturday and it felt a little sad not being able to attend but we looked into me going home and it was just going to be far too expensive and cumbersome. My mum has sent me photoes of the flowers.
James has his cooking exam today. I got all his ingredience on Saturday so I just hope everything goes well for him. Lots more exams to come this spring for GCSE and then it's the long wait to end of August for the results.
So, today I wanna show you this .....

....... made this for the ATS WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE "Anything goes". Nice and easy hehe - just how I like 'em. Love this little girl - she's so cute which a fresh face.
MATERIALS USED
Laugh Lines "Flower" from All That Scrap

Winter Darby
Good morning all.
My camp is again peaceful and quiet. Ben has gone back to Uni with a "I'll be Back" salute and my kids have gone to school. This is the time when I catch up on housework, a little DT work and blog surfing. Somehow the house always ends up looking as if WW2 took a detour through here lol.
So we have been told to expect extreme cold and possibly snow here and what would be more appropriate than a wintery card ..................

............... I made this to fit with the challenge at ALL THAT SCRAP - blues, tan and brown. I certainly hope I have hit the theme and I rather like this combo for a wintery card. This will go into my "christmas cards" box :).
MATERIALS USED
Darby Winter @ ATS
White cardstock
DP paper (don't know make)

Snowball
Good morning all.
Well, things are finally getting back to normal here. Ben went back to University on Saturday (I am gonna miss him so much) and I spent the weekend getting the house under control and a lot of washing done. Not exactly my idea of fun but it's gotta be done. So it's back to the usual routine again for a while. Ben will be back end of January after his exams but only for a short while.
I am hoping to go home to Denmark at Easter. My mum will be 70 in February and my gran will be 90 in March. My gran is luckily still here although my mum says that it's going downhill day by day. I think she's tired and has lost the will now that she's no longer living in her house and has lost the ability to do things herself. But I call her and we have a little chat. She sounds soooooo old.
Right, I did manage to make a very CAS card this week-end .......

............. I have been wanting to buy one of these cute girls for ages so here she is - living amongst my other stamps now :). I wanted to try some different colours for christmas but I am not sure if this is working.
MATERIALS USED

Current Ebbtide
Good morning bloggers :).
Went to the doctor yesterday to have a blood-pressure checkup (it was on the high side 2 weeks ago) and it's still high :(. This means I am having to have further tests done i.e blood-tests, E.C.G and a measure device attached for 24 hours which will measure my blood-pressure at a 30 min interval. I am pretty sure that I am fine but it's a lot of hassle as the nearest facilities means a day-trip lol. But it's better to be on the safe side.
My mum called me yesterday. My gran has been moved to a nursing home and everyone there have made a very welcome. Unfortunately she is a lot weaker as she has suffered a few minor heart attacks in hospital. My baby brother (he's 28 - born when I was 22) came home from Copenhagen for the first time since my gran got bad. He told me it was a shock seeing her like this. But she is being well looked after around the clock so hopefully she'll pick up a little.
So, this is today's card and I used the sketch for PINK {INK} SKETCH ...........

............. and dug out another stamp which was purchased cos I absolutely adored her and then forgotten. Isn't she adorable?! She's one of Amy Young's beautiful mermaids. My daughter has already ear-marked this as her birthday card lol. This will also be entered into PAPERTAKE WEEKLY and ALL THAT SCRAP WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE

Good morning all.
Another sunny day - yes, we are definately past summer and into September. Wasn't yesterday lovely and today promises to be just as nice. I do wonder why I feel the need to mention the weather every day - I think it's a british tradition I picked up somewhere - the british do enjoy a good chat about the weather or lack of it hehe.
Almost set for the kids going back to school. Phoebe has been furnished with a wardrobe full of new uniform clothes although we are still missing the shoes. Will go to Notthingham tomorrow to get those I think. As for James - well, they don't wear a uniform at his secondary school and at 15 he likes to look "kool man". Still need to get his writing equipment which, by his usual standard, will be gone after just 2 weeks back.
Ben has been furnished with everything a young man needs for a life as a student from bedding to kitchen utensils. Just need to get his toiletries and to talk him gently thru the process of "washing your own clothes".
I have been without my phone for a few days which can be a blessing but at the moment I really need to be able to contact home whenever I feel I need a granny-update. At first I thought it was my phone so went an purchased a new - but no, it's a fault on the line so am waiting for BT to sort that for me asap.
Well, onto today's card which has been inspired by this wonderful summery image - mmmmm, strawberry and cream.
This is for ATS WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE
I used the sweet geisha girl which is available as a digi from All that Scrap - actually you get 2 geishas and think they are just lovely. She's coloured with Promarkers and I kept the card fairly simple.

Good evening all.
Well, Ben and Charlotte are finally dresses to go out on the town this evening. Think they are making a lot of time with their school friends before they are all scattered alll over the UK. Was I really that difficult at 18 when getting ready to go out - must have been lol. Just came online to post this card I made yesterday.
This one is for the ATS CHALLENGE "Earth tones". I hope I have managed to fulfill the brief, used lots of browns and moss greens and this sweet little Twisted Sister by Amy Young. If I am honest I rather like the way this turned out.

Good morning all.
Well, it's looking a little overcast this morning but I hope it isn't going to rain. Not got much planned today, Ben will be at work (he's got a job in a local pub until he goes to Uni) so Phoebe, James and I will just be having a lazy day. Mind you, I got lots to do so I won't be sitting around admiring the wall-paper lol. Have a huge pile to iron (hot job when it's muggy) and there is always something to do. Hopefully will be able to do a little crafting too.

I have been a fan of Amy's for a long time, not only does she create the most adorable cards but she also designs her own images and they are simply gorgeous. You can find her blog HERE. I have used one of Amy's princesses Ilyse for this week's challenge at ATS. Anything goes is always a nice and easy challenge :).

Good morning all.
Hope you all enjoyed your weekend and looking forward to the week ahead. The sun is shining from a bue sky which always makes me happy. I am sure there is something about the weather and how we feel.

My card for today is featuring the very sweet Kiki La Rue designed by Christine Wooden (CC Design's mummy). I love CC Design, not only are they super cute but they are a joy to colour. There is a wonderful Photo Inspiration challenge over at ATS WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE - lots of lovely pastels. This would be perfect for a party Phoebe is going to this coming weekend - yes, she has 2 parties and a school BBQ (I am exhausted all ready lol).

Tulip Birgitta
Good morning all.
Did you all have a good weekend? Mine consisted of the usual grocery shopping and housework but Saturday evening was the best. The year EUROVISION SONG CONTEST - have watched it ever since Abba won with Waterloo although these days it's much changed. So many eastern european contries participate .... a total of 43 countries. Although at the final there are only 25. Didn't like the winning song but at least Denmark did pretty good again and England didn't end up with zero point lol.
And as you can see I managed to make a card. This is for the weekly All That Scrap challenge and this week it's paper piercing. Love doing this - so much fun and CC Design stamps are perfect for this. Hm - I am sticking with my Promarkers for the moment. Mojo is still a little slow so I do apologise for the lack of posts.

Just a quick note from me. The sun is shining - it's lovely and warm. Did my shopping early this morning and chilling in the garden now.
Tomorrow Phoebe and I are going to her dad's house for Easter so I won't be able to do any crafting there but I am back home again Monday :).
This card is for the challenge at ATS Challenge "Make your own flower". I sure hope that die cut flowers put together with a button counts. It's my sun on the card lol. Have used a cute CC Design stamp and used my Promarkers. The background is also stamped but have used water-colours for that.

Jessamine

Good morning all!
Hope you all had a wonderful week-end. I know I did, it was Mother's Day in the UK yesterday. My children spoiled me :) - Phoebe gave me some lilac slippers (her favorite colour lol) and a cute little paper handbag she'd made at school. From the boys I got Thornton's Continental Chocolates and a DVD Boxset "The Tudors". So now I can sit with my feet toasting warm, eating scummy chocolate and watch the delicious Jonathan Reece-Meyers show off his gorgeous body as Henry VIII - mmmmm heaven. Obviously this only lasts until the kids want feeding then I am back down to earth again lol.
Today I want to show you something different than just my usually square card. I don't make cards with different folds not do I make boxes etc. Not that I don't want to but simply because I can't scan them. I do not have a camera at present so I scan my crafty makes. However, I wanted to try this Trifold card and it is scannable (yes I know - photo would be better lol). I am quite pleased with how it turned out so now I am sharing it with you. I shall be sending this to a dear friend who has a birthday soon. I used a wonderful stamp Jessamine designed by Amy Young. I won this last year. I am a huge fan of Amy's images and I totally LOVE her blog. She's so inspirational and her cards a joy to see.

ATS Challenge - Simon Says + Mojo Monday + more

Good afternoon all.
You know spring has arrived when you see newborn lambs in the fields. They are just so cute with pure white coats and wobbly legs. The sun is shining and it always makes me feel a whole lot better.
Yesterday I went to the hair dresser for a drastic haircut.... think Annie Lennox. my son's comment was "Mum, your hair is shorter than mine" in a rather disapproving voice lol. Going back on Tuesday for silvery highlights - can't wait.
I love CC Design stamps, there is just something about them that is me. This young lady has been coloured with Promarkers and had a pretty paper pieced dress. I think so look real sweet.

ATS Challenge + Fab'n'funky + Promarker challenge + more
Good morning all.

Hope your day has started with just as much sun as I have. It's lovely but still very cold. My son got his exam results yesterday and we are celebrating hehe. This means he is now guaranteed a place a University to study Biological Sciences and he'll finally be able to get an independent life. I am really happy for him.
I have a lot of birthdays here in March and my sweet and wonderful gran will be 89. I can't be with her as she's in Denmark but I can send her a handmade card and I made this one. It's rather girly but with the curlers and the grey hair I am sure it'll be perfect. My gran drinks a lot of coffee so the sentiment is perfect.

ATS challenge + Promarker + more
Good morning Saturday.
Yesterday I went for a little retail therapy at IKEA. Needed a few bits for the house but you never come away with just what you need. Besides, IKEA have so many marvelous storage ideas just perfect for crafters so I had to get just a few bits. And of course I had to get some of their swedish meatballs and gravy which we had for dinner - mmmmm.
It's still Valentine theme out there in challenge -land but wanted to do something that was NOT red or pink and I suddenly remembered I had some cute little Valentine stamps which I got a few years ago. Took a while to remove all the dust hehe but here is one of them in all her glory and coloured with Promarkers

MATERIALS USED
Image: Hey Cupid from CC Design (2008)
Paper and ribbon: stash
Gems: from Bunny Zoe
Ink: Rangers Distress Ink and Memento Tuxedo Black
CHALLENGES
Card pattern - Sketch
Promarker challenge - Let there be love
Dutchdare - LOVE
ATS Wednesday challenge - Valentine (non-traditional colours)
Sukkersott - Valentine
Do you stack up - Ribbons
Thank you for dropping by and hope you have a lovely weekend, Mette

My second post of the day - I better make the most of it while my sons are still sleeping the morning away. As soon as they emerge from the teenager dens I will not be able to get to the computer until tomorrow when they are finally go back to school after 2 weeks of.
I have coloured the image using Prisma pencils and blender. There is also a small amount of glitterglue and Accents Crackle just to add a little texture.
