Good morning all.

Brrrr - it's cold here. And grey and wet so the question is ....... WHO STOLE SPRING and could you please bring it back.

Had a very quiet week-end and did a lot of DT work and the not so interesting ironing lol. But I do feel better once all the clothes is washing and neatly put away. It doesn't last long I know and I have a feeling it'll only get worse once Phoebe get's bigger and tries on her entire wardrope before going to school. As for now I am happy she wears a uniform and we only have different opinions about socks or tights :).

So, my card for today ...........

Good morning all.

It's still rather cold but according to the nice lady on the weather report it should start to get warmer. It would be nice with a little warmth :) and some more sun to brighten our days.

Maybe that is why my cards lately are of the bright and summery type lol. But "what is this" I hear you ask - well, eventhough I don't have a camera (yet) there is no need why I can't make a fancy fold card hehe ......... tada ...........



..... and once you open it up it looks like this .........



........... isn't it cool!? I am usually quite conservative when it comes to folds so I have been rather daring :). And it makes a lovely "surprise" card too. I will enter this into ATS WEDNESDAYS CHALLENGE where the theme is fancy folds.

Sorry I am a little late with this post but had an early appointment at the hospital and am just back. Must admit I made myself a coffee before doing this post so I hope you are all ready for .................

Sweet November preview day #3 - ZACH

Good morning all.

This is going to be a really early post. I am off to the hospital this morning to have the BP device fitted and then back tomorrow to have it off again. I am also going to Toys'R'Us to ask santa for some help with my daughter's massive wishlist lol. Luckily I have a friend who has kindly offered to take me to the hospital, was dreading using public transport as I always get confused.

Anyways, WELCOME to the third Sweet November preview day. Today we are featuring ZACH, isn't he fab. I love his happy smile and headband. He has been teamed up with some papers I found in my "not-used-in-ages" box :).

Preview Day #1 - MAX

Today I am honoured to be part of the SN December preview. When Amy e-mailed me asking if I would help her out I couldn't stop smiling - the whole day. I absolutely LOVE Amy's images - they are fun, a joy to colour and so versatile and feel so proud that she has asked me to help with this preview. Current Ebbtide

Good morning bloggers :).

Went to the doctor yesterday to have a blood-pressure checkup (it was on the high side 2 weeks ago) and it's still high :(. This means I am having to have further tests done i.e blood-tests, E.C.G and a measure device attached for 24 hours which will measure my blood-pressure at a 30 min interval. I am pretty sure that I am fine but it's a lot of hassle as the nearest facilities means a day-trip lol. But it's better to be on the safe side.

My mum called me yesterday. My gran has been moved to a nursing home and everyone there have made a very welcome. Unfortunately she is a lot weaker as she has suffered a few minor heart attacks in hospital. My baby brother (he's 28 - born when I was 22) came home from Copenhagen for the first time since my gran got bad. He told me it was a shock seeing her like this. But she is being well looked after around the clock so hopefully she'll pick up a little.

So, this is today's card and I used the sketch for PINK {INK} SKETCH ...........



............. and dug out another stamp which was purchased cos I absolutely adored her and then forgotten. Isn't she adorable?! She's one of Amy Young's beautiful mermaids. My daughter has already ear-marked this as her birthday card lol. This will also be entered into PAPERTAKE WEEKLY and ALL THAT SCRAP WEDNESDAY CHALLENGE

Halloween

Morning Tuesday.
Well, what do you know. It's grey, damp and chilly again so no change there. Not that I really expected it from the english weather but would be nice with a little sun. Ah well, there is always tomorrow (yeah right, in my dreams lol).

I know we don't really send halloween cards here in England but with so many cute halloween images around it's almost a shame. So without further ado I am presenting .......... tada, another halloween card (huge smiles). I made this for the Quixotic challenge who wanted to see Halloween themed creations and I know that Elaine LOVES halloween. I used this adorable little girl - been wanting her since I first saw it. This is a digital image available at All That Scraps but it's also available as a rubber stamp. Although I love digital images (fast delivery, easy storage and re-sizable) there is something addictive about new rubber. Not sure if it's the smell or the fact they look too clean - just gotta ink them up.
