Little Miss Muffet Challenge - Rainbows, Clouds or wings

Good morning all.

Well, it's time again for another fabulous challenge over at LITTLE MISS MUFFET and as always the super talented DT ladies have provided some stunning inspiration samples. This fortnight we want to see you incorporate "rainsbows, clouds or/and wings". There are so many different ways to intepret this so why not head on over to the challenge blog and check out the DT ladies projects.

As always you are welcome to use any image you like but we would love to see you using LMM stamps which are available HERE. And in our latest release Barbara has given us some gorgeous images which will be perfect for this challenge. These are located under What's New.

Here is my take .....

...... I decided to make a baby/toddler card and used the super cute Elle sitting on a fluffy cloud :). The background is made up of various scraps and I have seen a few of these around blogland and thinks it's a fabulous idea. The sentiment is from Unity Stampsand the button from Sew Sweet.

OK, enough of me - it's your turn head on over to the BLOG and hopefully join us for this challenge. You have 14 days, plenty of time :) and there will be a fabulous prize as always.

As for me I am going to dress my daughter up as a queen and then we are heading up to school for the street party from 9.30 - 13.30 and a talent show after :). Please cross your fingers for dry weather.

Thank you for dropping by and have a super day. Hugs, Mette

Alisa with roses (Resistance is futile)

Good morning all.

Another glorious start to the day but they say it's not going to last - but I bet we have all been loving this glorious weather.
Tomorrow Phoebe's school is holding a little street party in celebration of the Queen's jubilee - I sure hope it stays dry and a little warm. So much happening here at the moment - the Jubilee, the Olympic touch travelling around Britain and EURO 2012 will start in 10 days time. The boys are looking forward to that, I won't as Denmark is in a really touch group and not likely to progress (Gremany, Holland and Portugal, now that's scary). Later on in the summer the Olympic games and my trip home to see my family. It's going to be a memorable summer :).

I have a question?! Do anyone else try and stick to a certain budget only to have it broken by something you really must have!? Well, I did reach my budget limit and wasn't going to spend any more money for a while and along come Mo Manning with a new adorable image. I tried to resist - I honestly did but my resolve didn't last long.

So my card for today ....

..... features the latest Mo Manning image. Alisa with roses was just too adorable to pass up. Isn't she gorgeous ..... now maybe you understand why I found it so hard to resist her lol. Or maybe I am just to easy to pursuade hehe. She didn't need a lot of details so I kept the card simple.

Materials Used: Alisa with roses from Mo Manning - cardstock - Jillibean Soup dp - crinkled ribbon - sentiment from Unity Stamps

Challenges

I {heart) Promarkers - use a digi
Celebrate the Occasion - Anything goes

Thank you for dropping by and have a super day. Hugs, Mette

Mint

Afternoon all.

It's starting to cool daown just a little bit and am now ableto sit in the garden without fear of sun-stroke :). I like it better like this but I have never been able to just lie in the sun - I get bored to easily unless I am reading a good book.

I normally have a showcase of my forgotten (and neglected) stamps on a Tuesday but have been busy with Dt work. So I will just show a card which was intended for a DT challenge but unfortunately my mind wandered and headed in a completely different direction and totally forgot the challenge theme (back to the colouring desk for me).

But I would still like to share this little beauty with you ......

........ this is MINT and she's one of the latest little, adorable girls from the magic pen of Barbara over at Little Miss Muffet. I love colouring these as you can really go to town and have a lot of fun.
And it gives me a chance to remind everyone of the current "Anything goes" challenge where you have a chance to win 3 rubber stamps. But be quick - it ends in 15 hours.

Materials used: Mint from Little Miss Muffet Stamps - cardstock - jillibean brick paper - tree from Nikki Sivils - the clouds are also from Little Miss Muffet

Chloe

Good morning all.

Well, we are definately having some fabulous weather here at the moment. Been enjoying the sun and had a super weekend. On Saturday Phoebe and I went into town and I purchased a pair of walking boots as part of my "get-fit" regime. Gonna go for a walk every day and where I live is excellent with green fields and ups/downs :).
Yesterday was quiet - started doing my ironing but it's just too hot. I will leave it till tomorrow when it's going to start getting cooler, atleast 10 degrees cooler.

Here is my card for today ....

........ I knew I had to have this stamp when I first saw it. I love this image - she's just so darn cute. And just perfect for a nice summer card. Made this yesterday morning while my room was still cool.

Materials used: Chloe from Whimsy Stamps - cardstock - Designer paper (unknown) - twine - buttons - tag - Hero Arts Thoughtful Messages

Thank you for dropping by and have a great day. Hugs, Mette

Dilly Bean Friday challenge - Friendship

Good afternoon all.

What wonderful weather we are having at the moment. It's almost too good to be true. Just hope it lasts till Thursday next week in time for the Queen's jubilee party. Phoebe's school is having a street party and I can't wait as I have never been to one. I am sure Phoebe is looking forward to it too.
Tonight she's gone on a school walk with my friend and her daughter - she won't be back for the next 2-3 hours. I am not going as last year I ended up with pains in my feet for months and had to have physio in the end.

Anyways, it time for DILLY BEAN FRIDAY CHALLENGE and this week we are celebrating "Friendship". This is a great opportunity to make a card for a special friend. If you are needing a little inspiration head on over to the challenge blog and have a look at the fabulously talented DT team's projects,

here is mine .....

....... I have used Amalia and Laylah - they are just so cute and I love creating cards with Megan's images. They are all available HERE.

Thank you for visiting and have a great day. Hugs, Mette

Good morning ladies.

It's Thursday and we are showcasing a new release over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps. Thank you for dropping by and have a fabulous day. Hugs, Mette

MacKenzie

Good morning all.

Glorious weather here in the UK. Clear skies and sun, what more do you want from life (well, maybe some stamps hehe). This time last week we had a hail storm here - the weather can be quite really. But this weather is so good for the soul - I know I feel a lot better and happier when the sun is shining.

Ben went back to Sheffield early this morning so won't see him now for the next month. He has his final exam on Friday but is involved in a fitness trial at the university (as a guinea-pig) and he still has to work. At the end of June he'll come and stay till he starts Uni again in September.

So, here is my card for today ....

TUESDAY SHOWCASE ......... Eden

Good morning all.

FINALLY starting to feel a little human again and this nasty flu I had is moving on. I hate feeling weak and achy everywhere but unfortunately nothing we can do about flus atm. And of course it helps that the weather here in the UK has turned very summery with blue skies and sun.

Yesterday was James' 16th birthday. My son is turning into a young man and it's very hard telling him off when you have to look UP lol. All he does is say "Ok mum" and do his own thing anyways. Ben also came home yesterday, only for a day or two, but it's nice to see him again. Soon he'll be here full-time until University starts again and by then I might sing a different tune.

Naturally I haven't been feeling like crafting a lot but I did do a bit, and I have reached the letter B in my catalogue and using my neglected stamps. So here is Tuesday's Showcase .............

........... featuring Eden. She's just such a sweet little girl from Belles'n Whistles (designed by the talented Elisabeth Bell). I believe I have used her once before but sadly she's just been gathering dust. A shame really as she's perfect for a new baby girl or 1st birthday card. Hope you like her.

SHOWCASE TUESDAY

Good afternoon all.

Not sure what's happening with the weather (yup, here I go again hehe) but the lady on the TV did say it would rain badly all day but luckily it's been dry until now. I am convinced however, that the weather is the reason for all the nasty bugs and germs around. Can't seem to shift this flu and sore throat I have and don't seem to have any energy.

Well, onto today's showcase of forgotten and neglected stamps. I wasn't really sure whether to include newer stamps but felt that I had to use them since most of them are already unused and as I am are doing this based on the companies/artists in my stamp collection it seemed only right. We are still on "A"....

....so, here is TUESDAY SHOWCASE ......

.... featuring a free stamp and sentiment from the ALLEY WAY STAMPS. I love the play on words and this is such a great image. I will be fabulous for my brother who has a birthday soon. It's really hard finding an image he would like being a hardcore rocker. I think he might actually like this :).

MATERIALS USED: Fun-gi from Alley Way Stamps - brown and kraft cardstock - MME "Abbey Road" dp - buttons - twine

That's it for today and I hope you all have a great day. Hugs, Mette

Mummu - In honour of my "mormor"

Evening all.

Just a real quick post to share with you a card which has been standing on my deck for a few days. Reminds me of my "mormor" (granny) who sadly died in March. I miss her terribly but I don't think her passing will hit me until I go home in the summer and she's no longer in her house. My "mormor" had a wicked sense of humour and would have love this card.

Meet the fabulous Mummu ....

...... she's one of Mo Manning's creations and I think my favorite of them all. This card will be entered into DP2 Challenge "Tickle my funny bone". I have used my Primas colours for this image.

Materials used: Mummu from Mo Manning - scraps of various papers - ribbon - sentiment from Dilly Bean Stamps.

Thank you for dropping by and have a super evening. Hugs, Mette

Samantha

Good morning all.

Well, after a lovely week-end it's back to grey and wet weather here in the UK. Not surprised?? Me neither lol. Despite the nice weather I have not been feeling well - flu #2 or just #1 making a stonger come-back. Don't feel like doing much exept wrapped up on my sofa watching CSI, Big Bang Theory and Glee. Sad, I know :).

Did manage to craft a little over the weekend and today's card ......

...... features the sassy Samantha. I have quite a few birthdays coming up soon and this on will be brilliant for a certain lady. I just simply followed the challenge over at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS "One layer". And since this is a huge year here in the UK - The Queen's diamond jubilee and the Olympics - I choose to use the english colours.

Thank you for dropping bu and enjoy your day. Hugs, Mette

Got my haircut (finally), went to Derby (stressful) and had my eyes tested (about time). So my new glasses will be ready for pick-up on Wednesday which means I might be able to see a little better.

Today has been a lovely sunny day here although as soon as it's evening it's soooooo cold. I did manage to make a card last night.
