Good afternoon from a dull and grey Derbyshire.
Frinally Friday again. Today Ben's coming home for the week-end. It's amazing how much I miss him - I don't pay much attention to it but it's always at the back of my mind that he's no longer here. It will be good to see him again. Mind you, he'll be home all summer before uni starts again so maybe by the end of it I'll be singing a different tune lol.
My gran will be moved to a new nursing home very soon. She has been spending a few weeks in a hospice to see if she would improve with some individual care and attention but it would seem that all she does is lie in her bed or sit in a chair asleep. My mum said she's so skinny. It's really hard to think about my gran like this so maybe I am a little grateful that I can't see her. I am sure I wouldn't like it. My mum thinks she's just hanging on till the 25th March when she turns 90 :(. Breaks my heart.
Anyways, enough sad talk - like I said it's Friday and that means we have a new challenge for you over at Dilly Beans Friday Challenge. This week we ask that you go crazy with GLITTER - not too hard lol. Here's my card ...
.... using one of the latest images from Megan. This is just so beautiful and can be found HERE. I have used some Basic Grey papers, a little glitter on the butterflies and the sentiment is embossed using black glitter emboss powder.
Why don't you jump over to the challenge blog and have a look at the other DT ladies fabulous projects and then hopefully join in. We'd love to see you.
Thank you for dropping by and have a great day. Hugs, Mette
