Good morning all.
The sun is shining and the birds are singing so no staying in bed for me lol. Plus Phoebe is up and full of beans - how do kids get up with tons of energy?, I need at least 2 coffees and a shower before I feel remotely human.
I have to get the back bedroom cleared (some stuff is already gone), then it needs painting and turned into a little princess room. Having only 3 bedrooms Phoebe has had to share a room with me (can't have 2 teenage boys sharing - especially as they don NOT get along). Still have the other 2 bedrooms to sort as I am swopping bedroom with James and then I will hopefully have a designated crafting space :). Currently I am allocated a box, 1 shelf and the kitchen table which is not ideel. This is all coming about from Ben moving out mid September to go to University - my heart is already missing him lol (yeah, I know I am silly but he is the first to leave so it will be hard at first).
So, this little card is for TIDDLY INK CHALLENGE - include a tag or/and ticket. I didn't join in last week (mojo meltdown) so wanted to join this week. Used one of Christy's older freebie images - he's so cute, right??

Lola Da Vinci
Evening all.
Yes, I am a very bad blogger at the moment but between my kids at home from school on holiday, my mojo having trouble geting started again, re-arranging upstairs bedrooms and other things there has beenvery little time for me to craft. I am making a few things but they usually end up in the recycling bin or just stay inside my head as ideas (or put into my idea-folder) so it's amazing I have gotten this to show you.
There is a fabulous sketch over on the KRAFTIN' KIMMIE CHALLENGE and I have used one of my older stamps. I love this one cos you can really go to town with colours.
MATERIALS USED
Stamp: Lola Da Vinci from Kraftin' Kimmie
Papers: Jillibean "Blossom"

Amy Winehouse - Valerie with Mark Ronson (Brit Awards 2008)
Well, today's "Music saves my soul" is dedicated to the late Amy Winehouse who was found dead in her home today. Tragically it didn't saves her's and she was only 27 but what a fabulous voice.
And I am sure everyone will join me when we send our love and thoughts to the people of Norway who are coming to terms with the great tragedy which occured there this friday. What is this world coming to?

LOri Boyd Lollipop images
I know - no project to show today as the card I had made was hastily given to Phoebe's teachers on her last school day today and I forgot to take a photo lol. Scatter-brains in operation here.
However, I can tell you that I used a fabulous image from LORi Designs. Have you seen them yet??, they are just fabulous. A few reasons why I like them 1) they are simple and non-fussy designs, 2) an absolute joy to colour, 3) suitable for any age and occasion, 4) digital images are available to use instantly and 5) LORi has a very talented DT team full of inspiration.
Please visit Lori's digi shop HERE and see if she doesn't have something for you
Tuddles for now and enjoy your day. Hugs, Mette

Steampunker
Good morning all.
Been a while since I last posted here but I have been feeling a little unwell and my mojo seems to have taken early vacation. No real reason I guess other than these things happen and I have not been in the mood to do any cards.
Not that I have lost interest as I still love visiting blogs and look at all the wonderful creations.
Did you all see the fabulous new release from Tiddly Inks and Make it Crafty last week. All the images are just fabulous and I do love Tiddly Ink. Steampunk is definately the in-thing at the moment.
This card is for Tiddly Ink challenge "Reel Me in" and I have based mine on the cult movies "Mad Max". The new images lend themselves really well to futuristic makes :). This card is for my aunt who has her birthday next month (the day after mine). She's 5 years older than me and when she was told that she had become an aunt she started to cry thinking that it was something which hurt lol. I have always had a good relationship with her and I have always looked up to her so she's my star :).

Lilli Claire Tude
Hey all.
Feeling incredible tired today - can't put my finger on it but maybe a few last nights throws my system out of sync. I usually go to bed at 10 PM - any laster than that and I am tired. If it happens several night well ......... not good. And won't get an early night tonight, gonna stay up to wait for Ben returning from Greece.
My card is for Tiddly Ink Challenge. This week they want to see a little attitude. I could just have posted a phone of my own Little Miss Attitude here but that would have been too much lol. Instead used one of the sweet images Christy has in her shop - love them all :).

Sugar Plum Fairy
Good morning all.
Well, the sun is having a small break at the moment so Mr Showers has taken over. Hopefully Miss Sun will be back tomorrow for the local carnival. The theme this year is animals and Phoebe wants to be a cat :). It will as usual be a fun-filled day ending, this year, with a family disco. I did try to sell my handmade cards one year but it's not the right venue as people don't want to carry stuff around.
I must admit that although I am missing Ben it is nice and peaceful around my house at the moment lol. Ben and James clash non-stop and wind each other up so that sometimes it's full-blown war here. James has been calmer and happier not having big brother around to compete with and fight with. Well, onto something completely different ..............
...... my card for today. Isn't she fabulous??? I adore Mo's images - they are so full of character and bring back lots and lots of memories from my childhood. This is Sugar Plum fairy but I made her into a christmas fairy. Her little plums have been coloured brown to look like nuts hehe. Lots of glitter and red as those are my favorite christmas things. One more christmas card done!

Lil Birthday Kellie
Good morning all.
A little downpour this morning which I think the farmers have been praying for but it's still muggy and hot. Or maybe it's just my age lol.
It always amazes me how generous and fabulous crafty people are. I feel blessed being a tiny part of this wonderful community and I am thankful that I found this wonderful papercrafting addiction. This past week there has been 2 wonderful free give-aways - one on Mo Manning's facebook page and Kellie, owner of Tickled Pink Stamps, offered 2 free digital images for a limited period. Well, you definately don't say no to that especially to stunning images from 2 brilliant illustrators.
So I made a card using one of the free images. Lil Birthday Kellie - isn't she wonderful! These images are such fun to colour and suitable for big and small - in fact my daughter requested this image for her birthday card - in January lol. Used some of the new papers I got last week in Derby - they are so yummy.

Rainy Day
Good morning all.
Another lovely day here and it's Sunday :). Time to spend some quality time with my kids - well, Ben went to Greece yesterday so there's only James and Phoebe here. And James - well, he likes to lie verical and play on his Xbox so it's really just Phoebe and me lol. The washing has been hung out and we are going for a little walk soon. Later we'll make homemade pizza - yum.
My show for today is for the new challenge sketch over at SKETCH SATURDAY. Super layout and this week the prize is 4 digital stamps for PAPILIO Stamps. I have used Rainy Day which Malin (the designer at Papilio Stamps) kindly offered as a freebie last year. Isn't she sweet - yes, I mean both Malin and the image :). This was a fun sketch and I wanted to create a fun and colourful card. Hope I have achieved that!

Lazy Days
Good evening all.
Just a quick note while the house is quiet. Phoebe is fast asleep after a busy day, James is watching TV and Ben's gone to see their dad before going on holiday.
So I am having a little peace and quiet to visit blogs and get some renewed inspiration. So many talented people :).
The challenge for this week's SCACD is CAS - clean and simple. Now normally I would not make CAS cards but I am finfing more and more that I rather like this style - not too fuzzy and letting the image speak for itself. This card is very simple and hardly has any embellishments. I still went for a girly feel :).

Zoe celebrating
Good morning all.
Another beautiful day here in Derbyshire so I am gonna get cracking. Have lots to do and so little time to craft and blog at the moment so this will be a short post. Hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather we are having - pretty sure it won't last as school holidays are coming up soon.
Just popped online to post this card made for MAKE IT COLOURFUL 1st birthday celebration challenge. There are 5 different subjects and I choose the colour one - to use the logo colours for your project. And this image is just fabulous for a celebration card.
