Still having lots of trouble with my computer but am able to upload pictures and post here so it can't be too bad.
This is a card I made for Elzybell's fortnightly challenge and this one asked that you made your own designer paper. Well, I am still in the mood for christmas card (wonder how long it'll last). The corners of the card has been stamped and heat-embossed. I then stamped some swirls onto grey paper in black and red. The parcels are covered in gold glitter glue.
Ingredients:
Stamps: "Eskimo gifts" from Elzybells - the swirls are from Crafty Individuals
Paper: Paper Mill Shop
Inks: Versa Magic "Dew drops"
Ribbons: stash
Charm: Bunny Zoe's
Colouring: Prisma pencils + blender

Cheryl's anniversary candy
For some strange reasons I am unable to upload this to my sidebar - keeps showing me error message. I will try again tomorrow but for now I would like to send you all over to Cheryl's blog. She is celebrating her 1st anniversary with some super candy. You have until 1st March 2010 to enter so why not give it a try. Besides, Cheryl's blog is full of wonderful inspirations.

Kraftin' Kimmie #14
Not having much luck with my PC this year - viruses, file corruptions etc etc. Good job I know someone who can fix it for free :). And hopefully he's gonna build me a new and better PC soon.
Anyways, I wanted to share this card with you. I made it for the Kraftin' Kimmie challenge which was "No embellishment". Did I just hear a "gasp" - well, it's actually not that hard as the Designer Paper itself can work as embellishment. Again I have done a christmas team and used this super image. I have used Rangers ink to give the edges a little colour.
Ingredients:
Stamp: Antoinette by Kraftin' Kimmie
DP: DCWV "Christmas Wishes"
Colouring: Prisma + blender

Sugar Bowl # 27
Well, seems like everyone and everthing is getting a virus at the moment. My kids have been poorly and for the past 10 days my PC has had a nasty virus. Yes yes - silly me opened an e-mail and WHAM, infection. So my friend has formatted the PC but it is taking ages to re-install all my stuff and I don't feel the PC is working properly. Roll on April when I get an upgrade which will make the PC 10 times faster.
I have managed to make a few cards during this time and I would like to show you this card made for the Sugar Bowl challenge. It is a super sketch and I have used this lovely image by Elisabeth Bell. Isn't she gorgeous??? I went with summery colours as I can't wait for spring to arrive.

High Hopes 58 - Put a bow on it
No ice on my road this morning and even the recycle lorry managed to come around. The playgroup is open again and hopefully we are on our way to normality - whatever that is lol.
My card today is another christmas card. At this rate I might have a spare card for the Queen too. I am entering this in the High Hopes challenge with this week wants you to "put a bow on it" - pretty simple :). I have used this super santa face which I have wanted for ages and finally bought it in the sale. He looks so darn friendly.
Ingredients:
Stamp: Santa Portrait by High Hopes
Paper: some DCWV "Christmas Wishes" and some stash
Flowers: RAK
Bow and paper scroll. A little glitterglue
Colouring: Prisma pencils + blender

Mojo 121
For the new year I have had some resolutions. 1. is to get in a few more Prisma pencils which are missing from my collection, 2. is to use items I already have in my stash before rushing out to buy new stuff - although I would love to buy it all lol and 3. well, I don't know about the rest of you but I have found that with all the new and gorgeous stamps being released all the time together with the easy availability of digi stamps my "old" stamps are gathering dust. I do feel a little sorry for them and have decided that I will use them again. I am gonna put a limit to the amount of stamps I get this year (let's see if it lasts lol).
And I am starting with this lovely stamp from Sugar Nellie which I used for this week's Mojo challenge . She was one of my first stamps I purchased when I first started in 2008.
Ingredients:
Stamp: "Picking Apples" by Elisabeth Bell
Paper and ribbon from stash
Colouring: Prisma pencils

I am doing the jiggy dance
Why??? Because I just found out that I won the blog hop over at Kraftin' Kimmies. I almost fell of the chair and since my princess is asleep in my bed (as usual) I had to go down-stairs to do the Jiggy dance. The boys though their mum had finally gone ga-ga.
As it is the first time I ever won anything like this it's only natural I guess. I only ever won a fishing rod in a raffle once lol.
Can't wait to see my prize as the new stamps at Kraftin' Kimmie are gorgeous.
Wishing you all a wonderful evening/day, Mette

Ktaftin' Kimmie 12 - Heavy Metal
Hope everyone had a lovely week-end. The snow is finally starting to melt here but we are having slippery roads due to sleat and snow. Had to take no 2 son to school this morning as he decided to wait for the second bus which then didn't show up. Since I live on a hill the driving was bad.
Ingredients:
Stamp: Piper by Kraftin' Kimmie
Sentiment: Elzybells stamped on vellum and embossed
Paper: Doodlebug and metallics from stash
Eyelets and brads: Papermania
Charm: Quixotic
Ribbon and metallic snowflakes: stash
Colouring: Prisma pencils blended with Sansodor
Thank you for swinging by my little heaven and may your day be full of crafty ideas, Mette
Last year I was far too late with my christmas card and I didn't manage to make even half of the ones I need (I ended up having to buy some - shame on me). So this year I am starting early and will continue to make some all year round. Starting with this card which I made for the Kraftin' Kimmie challenge "Heavy Metal". Metallica springs to mind so I put on as much metal as I could find lol.

Mo Manning 13
Managed to make a card last night after Phoebe went to bed. She was rather tired as we had been watching "So you think you can dance??" and she definately loves dancing lol.
Well, I have finally managed to find the right paper to print on together with a fast printing (uses less ink), so no more bleeding. I would like to thank Mina for her wonderful advise and putting up with my desperate e-mails. Now I am on full speed ahead with digi images. They are so much easier to store and are instantly available.
This card is for the challenge over at Mo's ....................... oops, Bella and Bronte's place. This week the challenge is BIRTHDAY and we all need cards for that. I love Mo's images - she somehow manages to capture so much personality in her drawings. Hope you like this little girl.
Ingredients:
Digi Image: "Sophie" by Mo Manning
Papers: Sandylion "Baby Boy Stripes and Dots" + stash
Pearls: from Bunny Zoe's
Thank you for visiting my little heaven and wish you a peaceful Sunday, Mette

Pollycraft No. 31
I cannot wait until summer when the kids will be outside and not inside demanding my attention 100%. Then I might get a little more crafting done. As it is I am squeezing a little bit in here and there and eventually I get something finished lol.
This card is another first for me. I found these lovely digi stamps from Pollycraft Design and they are just lovely. As they also have a challenge blog I decided to play along. This week's theme is Winter birthday and I used one of the Winter Gingers. The image is a little fuzzy as I am still scanning my cards (sometimes tricky when attaching a lot of embellishments), I hope to get a new camera soon'ish.
Ingredients:
Image: Ginger Tea by Pollycraft Designs
Papers: Doodlebug "Neapolitan stripes", from stash and hand stamped swirls
Flowers: Prima
Brad and ribbon from stash
Colouring: Prisma pencils + mixer

Sugar Bowl No. 26
I have managed to make another card. Although my hands are freezing and I just wanna climb under my warm duvet hehe.
This is for the Sugar Bowl challenge which has a lovely sketch together with the option "something new". i have used one of my Diane Duda stamps which I recently got. Oh yes - I have gone all quirky in my old age and I love the new quirky stamps out there as you may already be aware. I have also used my favorite colours - citrus - they remind me of summer and lemonade.
Ingredients:
Stamp: Bashful from Sugar Nellie
Papers: K & Co - Lime Garden and a forgotten pad
Flower: Handmade by moi (oh yes - I can crochet hehe)
Button: local market.
Hope you enjoyed your stay in my little corner of heaven, Mette

2 cards
Well, we are now in 2010 and I have been finding it a little difficult getting back into the swing of crafting despite the fact I got loads of wonderful things for christmas.
It's a little difficult when all the kids are here to get any crafting done cos they command a lot of my time hehe. But I was hoping that monday I would be back to normal as they would be back at school and playgroup - but oh no, we had snow. A lot of snow and frost and ice. I am so happy I managed to get a fire in this winter. The living room is toasting :)).
Anyway, I have managed to make a few cards and this first one is for Kort-o-Mania's challenge "vintage". Now I don't normally do vintage (just take a look backwards) but I am rather pleased how this turned out.
Ingredients:
Image: Katzelkraft
Paper: received from a lovely friend, music sheet is distressed with Ranger "vintage photo"
Tag: local office supplies
Lace, Bow and button: from stash
This next card is for Kraftin' Kimmie challenge and they asked that you use Paper Piecing. I got this super stamp from my boys (I adore these - my absolute favorites for 2009).
Ingredience:
Stamp: Lola Da Vinci from Kraftin' Kimmie
Papers: forgotten
Brads: Papermania
Flowers: Bought at Bunny Zoe's
Sentiment: G-studio and embossed
Colouring: water-colours
Thank you for popping by and have a lovely day, Mette
