Good morning Friday!

Half-term is almost over and the kids are back at school next week. Have really enjoyed having my kids home - just hope that the summer holidays will be just as nice :).

Anyho, as it's Friday we have a new challenge for you at Dilly Bean Friday Challenge. This week we are challenging you to only use Black and White  (Skin colours allowed).  Not too difficult - right!

Girl with Heart

Good morning all.

Watched the second BGT semi finale last night. This year I do not have a favorite like last year when I was shouting for Jonathan and Charlotte. No-one really stands out for me this year although there is a lot of fantastic talent.

Also had to have the "mummy-is-in-charge" talk with my daughter who is going through a phase of not listening to me lol. Had lots of tears (hers) but in the end we managed to sit down quietly and discuss this issue.

Girls flying kite

Good morning all.

Ok, whoever took the sun kindly return it immediately - pfff the cheek. Looks like we are having a few days of rain but have just checked the extended weather report and it looks pretty good after Friday.

I took Phoebe and her friend to a sports fair yesterday and she had a go at Archery (after a lot of persuasion). There were a lot of activities to try but my daughter is not a sporty girl - more a handbags, make-up and high heels girl. Went to McD after for the first time in ages so they had a treat.

Hello all for another sunny day in Derbyshire.

Are you kidding me!!!! It's still sunny here and I am lovin' it.  But I am certain this can only be a short-lived mistake from the weather-man hehe. 

Phoebe has gone with her friend on a picnic and my son is nursing a self-inflicted headache and I am just sitting in the garden enjoying the sun, so can't linger but just wanted to share this. Used a sentiment from Paper Makeup.

Lovey Dovey

Good morning all.

Time seems to be running away from me - can't keep up at the moment lol. So many things going on in my little heaven.

Tomorrow my son James turns 17 - honestly I swear he was only just born last week. Both he and my son Ben are both in the middle of exams at the moment - one A-levels, one at University. And Ben has managed to get a placement at Sheffield Children's Hospital for next year - I am so happy for him :).

Good morning all.

Sun and showers is what the English weather has in stall for us over the next week and beyond. Not really my favorite but can't complain. Just wish it was a little warmer.

Am off on a course this week and next in the afternoon (3 days per week) so Phoebe is in after-school club. Will be hectic arriving home late and preparing dinner. Should have de-frosted the meat last night and cooked this morning but brain wasn't working (again).

Best friends

Good morning all.

My markers finally arrived yesterday so I am pleased.  I am just adding the colours that I am missing in my Promarker collection. Am trying a few Flexmarkers too and they blend really well together.

Hope that we have a better day today than yesterday. Need to get some washing dried which is difficult with the showers lol.

My son went to Wembley Stadium yesterday to watch the FA Cup final and spend the weekend in London with his girl-friend. I have a feeling it was better than Christmas for him lol.
