Uptown Girl
Good morning all.
This morning is looking a little promising with regards to the weather. Although the wind is cool the sun is still trying to shine thro. Has spent this morning as usual tidying after a hectic morning - 3 kids getting ready for school can leave the place like a hurricane went thro. And the iron pile was starting to look like a mountain even the bravest wouldn't climb so needed to be tackled. I don't know about you but I like to watch TV while ironing and my favorite morning program (UK) is The Wright Stuff - makes me laugh ).
I also managed to finish this card which I started yesterday (or the day before) - it sometimes takes me a while finishing a card but I will think about the layout, colour and emnellishments while I do other things. I have used this fabulous digital image from KENNY K DOWNLOADS - isn't she just perfect for a teenage girl with a little attitude!

Rylee's flowers
Good morning all.
Am finally starting to feel human again after 4-5 days of feeling like an ogre. I can even smell the air again although living in the countryside close to fields that are being fetilized is not always a bonus lol.
The sun is shining again but I doubt that will last long as they have forcast heavy rain. Spent the morning tidying up after 2 teenage boys and a little hurricane who can make mess faster than I can tidy up.
Anyhow, you didn't come here to read my ramblings but hopefully because you like the look of my cards. Today I am showing you a card for my mum who is always at the end of the phone when I need someone to moan to or just catching up with the family back home whom I miss like crazy. She is my best friend.
This is Rylee's flowers - isn't she just the cutest!! You can get her HERE and others too.

Kool Dude!!!
Good afternoon all.
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I am still not feeling to good but hey, you can't cure a flu. Been food shopping (which I hate, surfing a little (on the net) and done some crafting.
I follow a lot on FB and love to see what's new. Amongst others is Tickled Pink's FB page, there is loads to see and discover and sometimes you might be lucky and win a prize. Like I did today - although I was a little too late Kellie still sent me a free digital image - how kool is that!!.
Anyhow, this is what I made this week-end. It is my first attempt on colouring with Prisma pencils on kraft and although I still need a lot of practise I am not too disappointed. I just love this Lil Guys and have got a few others to work with. I wanted a rocking feel and printed out a free music sheet from the PC. Can anyone guess the band who sang this song. I was a HUGE fan.

THE HITCHCOCKS "Blood Will Follow" Promo Video
Just real quick for Marcea's "Music Saves My Soul" I wanna share this. It is not my usual sort of music but my baby brother plays the guitar (he's the second guy featured - Mads) and I am dead proud of him. They are currently supporting Volbeat (a very popular band). Hope you will have a listen :).
Friday Sketchers + Stamp Something + more
Good morning all.
Well, I have been a little quiet this past week but Phoebe has taken a while to get over her cold, like a yo-yo really - one day feeling good, next day feeling bad. And now I have caught it. I must admit I am feeling dreadful and have not been in a mood to do anything apart from feeding my kids (essential) and just basic washing, tidying and cleaning (necessary).
But I did make this card today and yesterday. I am practising with my Prisma pencils to get a better result, especially the hair and the very talented Jen Shults is an expert. So my thanks goes to her for passing on her knowledge and I do love the hair on this image. If you use Prisma pencils I would highly recommend a visit.
Right - I am off again as my eyes are hurting and need a rest (again).

ATS Challenge - Simon Says + Mojo Monday + more
Good afternoon all.
You know spring has arrived when you see newborn lambs in the fields. They are just so cute with pure white coats and wobbly legs. The sun is shining and it always makes me feel a whole lot better.
Yesterday I went to the hair dresser for a drastic haircut.... think Annie Lennox. my son's comment was "Mum, your hair is shorter than mine" in a rather disapproving voice lol. Going back on Tuesday for silvery highlights - can't wait.
I love CC Design stamps, there is just something about them that is me. This young lady has been coloured with Promarkers and had a pretty paper pieced dress. I think so look real sweet.

Mo's challenge + Magical Monday + more
Good evening all.
Hope everyone is doing fine - the bug that has been going around blogland has entered my house. My daughter has been home since yesterday with a nasty cold and unfortunately she becomes very asthmatic when she has a cold. Not had a lot of time to craft with looking after her. She's feeling a little better tonight.
Tomorrow I am going to the hairdresser to get a cut. Been far too long and it looks a little wild lol. A nice neat crop like Annie Lennox (short) is all I need and I'll be set for a few weeks.
I am afraid this image isn't the best. I only have a scanner and it's almost impossible to scan a card which is decorated with "big" beads. I love this fairy from Mo and she's been coloured with Prisma pencils. Hope you are able to see it (must try and save up for a camera).

Sassy Cheryl + Friday Sketchers
Good morning all.
Hope you all had a lovely weekend. I spent mine with the kids and yesterday shopping. I absolutely don't like shopping - well, only for crafty stuff, then I can spend hours - but food shopping is not my idea of fun. But when I got back my 14 year old son had done the dishes, cleaned the work surfaces, the sink and the cooker. I tell you, I nearly fell over. Normally I have to shout at him because he doesn't tidy up after himself. And this morning he asked if there is anything I need him to do. I am sure he's not feeling well or perhaps he wants a huge favour lol.
Well, my little show for today is an easter card. I know it's still a little while away but better to be prepared. I wonder what she did with the easter bunny?? She does have a guilty look on her face lol. She has been coloured with Prisma pencils.

Good morning all.
Hope your day has started with just as much sun as I have. It's lovely but still very cold. My son got his exam results yesterday and we are celebrating hehe. This means he is now guaranteed a place a University to study Biological Sciences and he'll finally be able to get an independent life. I am really happy for him.
I have a lot of birthdays here in March and my sweet and wonderful gran will be 89. I can't be with her as she's in Denmark but I can send her a handmade card and I made this one. It's rather girly but with the curlers and the grey hair I am sure it'll be perfect. My gran drinks a lot of coffee so the sentiment is perfect.

Charisma Cardz + Dutch Dare + Meljen Design + more
Good morning all.
Well, the sun is yet again shining from a blue sky but Boy, Oh Boy it's freezing. Managed to get a lot of washing done yesterday and today so my washing basket is now empty (but not for long I bet).
I don't know about the rest of you but every month I tell myself that I really DON'T need anymore stamps (both rubber and digital) not stash and every month I seem to get something new lol. But I have already spotted several images that I can't possibly live without so this month is not gonna be one of the "I have been really good" months lol.
I made this card for Phoebe's new baby cousin - he was 10.8 pounds so no wonder he needed a little help coming into this world. I have used an old digital image and I think this lion is perfect.

Allsorts + Paper Sundae + Unscripted
Good morning all.
Did you all have a lovely weekend?? I did - the boys were away with their dad and Phoebe and I spent the weekend with her daddy :). Yesterday I used a few spare minutes to make a card but I didn't get a lot of time to craft at all. And today THE SUN IS SHINING - so nice :).
Last Thursday I went into Eagle Market in Derby. There is a nice little craft shop and it's nice to have a local shop where you can go and spend the day looking for stuff. And I found some sweet stamps. These are by a local girl who's just 18 and she makes adorable stamps - her blog is HERE and there is a link to her etsy shop where she sells the images as digis. Aren't they fab??? If you like quirky you need to visit her.

Good afternoon all.
It may not feel like it but we are now officially in spring. It's freezing and I have had my heating on this afternoon. The boys have gone away for a weekend break with their dad - their granny was 80 last sunday although you wouldn't believe it. She runs around like a 20 year old full of energy. It will be lovely for them both and take their minds of exams and results.
Phoebe got a special mention in assembly today for some wonderful writing and a huge gold sticker. She did look very pleased with herself hehe.
I am trying to bring a spring feel into the house and as there are a fair number of challenges asking for spring card that's what I have made today. Fresh and colourful and have coloured the image with Prisma pencils again.

Tickled Pink + A Spoonful of Sugar
Good morning all.
Hm - the sun has not made an appearance as of yet but I am hoping it'll come out later. The wind is bitterly cold so I have got my fire roaring.
We live in a small village and my daughter attends the small local school. They rely on parents helping now and again especially in reception and year 1. So this morning I have been helping with maths - sometimes it's reading. I really enjoy it and I feel like I am giving something back.
Here is this mornings card. I have use a fabulous image from Tickled Pink (this one is a digi but it's also available as rubber). I have used my Promarkers as I wanted a bright and cheerful feel.

Good morning all.
First day of spring and the sun is shining. Been busy lately getting the house sorted and done a little bit of crafting. Well, don't really have that much to tell at the moment - life is just rolling along steadily without any drama or epic events.
I am experimenting with my colouring - both Prisma pencils and Promarkers and finding the best methods for skin and hair. Having lots of fun and putting it all to paper in a little booklet so I don't forget anything. I coloured this super cute image with my Prismas and I think it looks ok.
