Ramona Fishing

Good morning all.

Grey, wet and windy here in the Derbyshire dales. Winter is definately coming. And not long till Christmas now. Really busy making cards made, sorting out various shopping list (presents, food, etc).

I don't think I have mentioned that I started Slimming World a short while back. I was that upset about my holiday pictures that they have been deleted from the PC (apart from 1 as a reminder). In 6 weeks I have lost 1st 2 pounds. Really happy and proud of myself. Feeling a lot better and able to go for long walks now without struggling hehe.  Aiming for another stone before Christmas.
Will be starting Physiotherapy on my shoulder this Thursday. Can't wait to get that sorted and be free of pain but doctor told me it can take some time.

Anyway, enough chit chat from me. This is a little "because I felt like it" card. I do love Stamping Bella stamps and this one is really sweet.

Materials used:

Ramona fishing from HERE - Papermania card-stock - Prima designer paper - staple - Promarkers and Prisma pencils

Un-planned and forced blogging and crafting brake

Dear ladies.

This morning I slipped in the shower and after a trip to the A & E I have now been fitted with a sling. There is a fracture on my right arm, right at the top where it meets the shoulder. And yes, very tricky typing with my left hand lol. In a lot of pain and need to go to the fracture clinic on Monday to see a specialist.

It is going to take 4-6 weeks to heal so I will be out of action, unable to craft, take photos and post. This is going to kill me - 6 weeks not colouring and making stuff is like hell.

Anyways, I will be back with new energy I hope  soon. Until then .......... keep crafting.

Hugs, Mette

Toot toot

Good morning ladies.

Today I would like to share a card I made as a guest over at  The Digi Bells blog. I am really enjoying working with Elisabeth Bell's images and am re-discovering "old" favorites that I have in my ever expanding stamp collection lol.

I do think that Elisabeth draws the most exquisite little boys and for my card today I am using this sweet image. It's called Toot toot and is available HERE. It so reminds me of the time when I used to lie on the floor with my boys playing trains :).

I have used some of my Papermania card-stock, MME Abbey Road papers but basically kept the card CAS. I think this image deserves center stage :).

Lucy's broken doll

Good afternoon all.

Today I have Phoebe home. She felt a little sick this morning and didn't want any breakfast, only took a few bites of her toast which came up again. So she will be staying at home tomorrow too. There is a tummy-bug going around in school so she has properly caught that :(.

My bathroom is being finished today too :) - oh yes, the end is near. All I need now are a few new things, mainly shelves for storage. Then I can get around to cleaning all the dust and dirt away.

I am still not doing any cleaning downstairs apart from the daily tidy up as I still have builders in to do my bathroom - phew, the mess. So waiting till they have done by the end of tomorrow to get busy downstairs. But I will have a lovely looking bathroom :).

Click!

Morning all.

I do believe my mojo is still on holiday. Or maybe I just haven't gotten back into the swing of things yet and am hoping that next week will give me more energy and find my mojo again.

Talking of holidays, I am one of those persons who just have to take lots and lots of photos and our trip home to Denmark was no exception. Lots of piccies from days out, family gatherings and food. Most of these stars my daughter who is 6. So what better way for her to celebrate and remember everyone than to make her a little album with lots of room for her photos and she can then write her own stories and how she enjoyed herself.

Today's project is for my GDT period with the lovely and talented ladies over at The Digi Bells DT blog. It's definately worth visiting as there is so much wonderful inspiration and of course it features the adorable digi images by Elisabeth Bell, available HERE.

For my album I have used the super cute image Click! - perfect for Phoebe's photo-album. I used my Abbey Road papers (I hate cutting into papers lol), a tag and envelope from Manilla and lots of Phoebe's little stickers - well, it is her album after all, and K & Co. rub-on words.

Thank you for dropping by and have a lovely day. Hugs, Mette

Dilly Bean Friday Challenge - OWLS

Afternoon crafters

Oh my Gosh I am really late today. Been one of those says where you are running around like a headless chicken in circle and everything seems to go wrong. First had to go shopping this morning (my pet-hate), then arrived home to find the electrician was here (didn't expect him till Tuesday next week as the plasterer isn't done), had to redo my washing :( (seriously need a remedy for making towels WHITE again) and have been helping Ben making an attempt of gathering all his belongings. So the chicken (not the same as above :P) is late in the oven and my post is late.

Anyho, it's Friday and that means a brand new challenge at Dilly Bean Friday challenge. This week we want you to share your OWLS :). I love owls.
Why not head on over to the blog and check out the rest of the fabulous DT ladies samples and then join us. Megan has lots of really lovely owls in her shop HERE :).

So here is my early christmas owl .....

...... featuring Winter Owl. Themed him up with some Papermania card-stock, scraps of Christmas papers and the writing stamp is from Crafty Individuals.

Thank you for dropping by and have a lovely week-end. Hugs, Mette

Angel fluffy cloud

Good morning all.

Things back to normal??? - definately not in my house. Still got chaos even though Phoebe and now James have gone back to school. Ben is still here with his stuff all over the house so difficult to get sorted and cleaned. He is going back to Sheffield on Saturday (insert sad face) and taking his belongings with him (insert happy face). I have builders in re-doing my bathroom (they were supposed to do it while we were on holiday) but I am hoping that I can start cleaning and tidying start of next week.

Went into Derby yesterday with the boys. Both needed new school gear - backpack, pens, folders, paper etc. And today Ben is going to Alton Towers (Amusement Park) with his GF so for the first time in 8-10 weeks I am here on my own (apart from the builder). Bliss hehe.

Today's card ...........

......featuring Angel Fluffy Clouds from Make it Crafty. Isn't she/he adorable?! I have used Papermania card-stock and kraft paper. A scrap of pattern paper, buttons and an old star stamp. The sentiment is from Personal Impressions

Entering this into ............

Deep Ocean Challenge - Things with wings
Papertake Weekly - Anything goes

Catch of the Day

Good morning all.

Well, I am finally back home again. Had a wonderful time seeing family and friends again and just didn't want to come back home.

Been really busy getting sorted today - unpacking, shopping (yes, the fridge was empty), washing and getting everyone ready for school next week. But I did manage to squeeze in a little crafting time when Phoebe went to a party earlier.

My post today is for The Digi Bells DT blog. Well, who doesn't love Elisabeth Bell's cute little characters - there are just so many to choose from. I must say that I come from a fishing town on the West Coast of Denmark but I can honestly say that they never caught anything as cute as this ......

Materials used: Catch of the Day from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection - Papermania card-stock - scraps of pattern papers

Thank you for dropping by and have a lovely Sunday. Hugs, Mette

PS: just noticed my spelling mistake lol but too tired to start over again.
