Good morning Saturday
Isn't it cold ......... brrrrrr. Sitting here with thermo undies and socks and to top it all I looked out the window this morning....... Mr Snow has been visiting and dropped a lot of his fluffy, white stuff. So it seemed only appropriate to show this card
This uses a super digi image "Sharing Sherbert - Snowball" from Pollycraft and is available HERE. She's coloured with Promarkers and I added a bit of stickle to the snow to make it sparkle in the sun. The flower is 3 different Primas fasten with a brad and I used a little lace and ribbon from my stash. A digi sentiment to finish it of.
I am entering this card into the following challenges
POLLYCRAFT - Feeling blue
DIGITAL TUESDAY - Let it snow
SIMON SAYS - Let it snow
Thank you for dropping by and if you have snow - ENJOY, hugs Mette

You Go Girl!!!
Hello Monday!!
Brrrrrr it's getting cold - not sure I can feel my feet anymore hehe. Had a crazy weekend and am now trying to calm myself and chilling which is not an easy task with so much to do. But I have to otherwise I'll lose my head in the living room and forget where I put it once I get upstairs to the bedrooms.
This is another card made for my very exciting Guest DT spot at Quixotic. I decided to make a card for an All Grown Up girl. My son's girl-friend is 18 soon so I guess this would qualify. The super image is drawn by the talented Elisabeth Bell and I have used some fabby papers from PinkPaislee. These items are available from Quixotic Paperie together with a lot of other wonderful goodies we crafters can't live without (our so we keep telling our better halves hehe).
Materials
Stamp: "All Grown Up" by SCACD
Papers: "Hocus Pocus" by PinkPaislee
Flowers: Wild Orchid Flowers and Prima
Medium: promarkers
Sentiment: TLC
Thank you for dropping by and hope you have a lovely day, Mette

Whiff of Joy Guest DT Call
Good morning Sunday.
OMGosh - it's been a few days since I have posted on my blog. Many apologies but believe me, I haven't been sitting around lazy - OH NO - I will be lucky if I find myself again I've been that busy. I am sure we are all getting busier and busier in the run up to christmas and crafting will take second place. I have managed to make some card which will be posted asap and some other projects too.
This card is intended for the Guest DT Call over by Whiff of Joy. Well, who doesn't love their gorgeous stamps and all the new things which are being introduced such as papers, dies, embellishments etc.
This cheeky chap is Charlie and I love these christmas stamps. I have coloured him with Promarkers and added a tiny bit of stickles to the "snow". The sketch is provided by the very talented Katherina (WoJ's mum) - here's to fingers crossed :).
Materials
Stamp: Charlie with snowball from Whiff of Joy
Papers: Memory Box "Tinsel" from Quixotic paperie
Embellishments: stash
Thank you for dropping in and have a blessed Sunday, Mette

Guest DT post for Quixotic
Good evening Tuesday.
Yes I know I don't usually post evenings but didn't have that much spare time this morning.
In Spetember I entered the challenge @ Quixotic and to my delight I won the top spot. This means that for the month of November I am Guest DT - ask me if I am excited or not hehe. The very talented and wonderful Elaine has sent me some gorgeous stuff to play with and left the theme entirely up to me :). So this is my first post featuring goodies available from Quixotic Paperie. It is well worth a visit as it's an Alladin's cave of goodies but I would have a quiet talk with your bank manager first hehe.
I don't know about the rest of you but I find that the shop-bought tags at christmas are often too small and bland for my taste so this year I want to make personalised tags. This is my first attempt and I am quiet pleased with how it turned out. I used one of the cute stamps by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. This one is called "Virginia" and have used some absolutely gorgeous papers from Memory Box "Tinsel" - it's lovely thick paper and beautifully printed. The stamp comes complete with ornament and sentiment JOY which I have used on this tag.
Supplies used
"Virginia" bu Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps
Papers: Memory Box "Tinsel"
Flat back bead
Flower: from my stash
Inks: Versamark and Ranger Distress Ink "Vintage Photo"
Emboss Powder: Stampendous "Disco Black"
Stickles: Ranger "Crystal"
Medium: Promarkers

Pass the tradition!
Good morning Monday
Well, what do you know ......... it's raining, again lol. Why am I so surprised - this is England so of course it's raining.
I hope you all had a super week-end. I am a little sad I was unable to make the craft fair at the NEC but there is always next time (I hope). But we did have a lovely weekend.
I wanted to show you this card I made. I have had this image for a while now and not used it, which is a shame as it's really lovely. It's from A day for Daisies and she fit beautifully with their current challenge "Please Pass the Traditions". Basically include an old favortie recipe on your creation. I choose a recipe my mum and my gran always made for birthday parties in our family - it's really yummy.
I would recommend you visit Tammy's website - she has the most gorgeous images.
Materials
Image: Apple Girl by A Day for Daisies
Papers: Cosmo Cricket "Garden Variety
Recipe Stamp: The Greeting Farm "Spotlight"
Beads: Jac's
Apples: hand-cut
Thank you for dropping by and hope you all have a creative day, Mette

Sweet November flakes
Good morning Friday.
The sun is shining this morning but I am wondering for how long. Been a wet and miserable week and I can't even cheer myself up by looking foreward to NEC. Unfortunately I can't make it this time but I will start to look forward to spring. I hope everyone who goes are having a wonderful time and buying beautiful craft stuff.
Onto today's card which is another christmas one - yes, not long now but this year I am ready - well, almost hehe. I am entering this into several challenges and the embellishments lends themselves to I {heart} Promarkers "Snowflakes" and A Spoonful of Sugar "Relish to embellish". I have used some gogeous vellum printed with gold medival words attached with a few brads - Cute card Thursday's challenge this week is "Gently does it!" As the colours are rather unusual for a christmas card it fits into Everybody Art Challenge "Un-traditional xmas" and the Promarker Challenge "Pearls, Lavender and Lace". Phew .... that was a small mouthful. I hope you enjoy my card as much as I liked making it and as for the sweet image ..... well, it's one of Amy Young's and I just love them all. Mine is a digi image from All that Scrap but she is also available in rubber.
Materials

Papers: I think it's Basic Grey but not sure
Pearls: Jac's
Brads: Papermania
Sentiment: TLC
Vellum, ribbon, lace and flakes: stash

Hooray for you
Good morning Thurday!!
It's still raining and I am still trying to get to the bottom of my washing basket but with 2 teenagers and one princess it's a lose/lose battle hehe. Ah well, gives me a chance to do a little crafting - who am I to complain hehe.
This is what I managed to make yesterday and don't you just love Kenny's images. This Hola back girl is also November freebie and I have to say I am happy Kenny and Elaine are this generous. If you want to pick up your copy you can find her HERE. Naturally I will be entering this into the KennyK challenge "Anything goes" but it also fit's in with the Digital Tuesday Challenge "I've been framed". I used this week's MOJO sketch. Hope you like it!!

Rainy Days and a cute little witch
Good morning Monday!!!
Well, it's raining - typical when I have a load of washing to do so now it looks like the house will have to be converted to a laundrette.
Firstly I would like to share this gorgeous picture with you all. Went trick or treating with my little witch yesterday - isn't she just the cutest!! I doubt anyone was scared but than again this picture was taken earlier in the day. It rained when we went out so she ended up looking like a drowned witch instead lol. The main thing is that she had lots of fun.
She's back at school this morning and NOT HAPPY.
Secondly I have finally managed to make a card (seems as if I am to busy with other things at the moment). This sweet image is by Papilio Stamps and Malin has been really generous and offered her free. You can find her HERE but be sure to check out both the digital and rubber stamps - just so gorgeous. I made this card for Friday Sketchers challenge - they have a super sketch this week.
Materials:
Image: Rainy Days by Papilio stamps
Papers: Cosmo Cricket "Garden Variety"
Flowers: Prima
Brad: Docraft
Inks: Ranger "Vintage Photo" and Versa Magic ""Real Red"
Stickles: Crystal
