Totally Gorjuss - Basic Grey + Sugar Bowl
Good evening! What a miserable day it's been. Grey and dull with a lot of rain towards the evening. Not a good start to the kids summer holiday. Hopefully it'll change soon.
The card I am showcasing today is for 3 challenge. I have used one of the gorgeous Gorjuss images available from Funky Kits and coloured her with my Prisma pencils as usual. The paper is Basic Grey "Sugar Rush" and MME Asaragus. Flowers are from Prima and Wild Orchids. I have printed a sentiment strip which I found at TLC :) - I just love her designs. A little glitter glue here and there and some "stitching". Hopefully gonna move my PC into my son's room and get my sewing machine out again. I really do miss sewing.
Challenges:>
TOTALLY GORJUSS - Congratulations
BASIC GREY - Stitching
SUGAR BOWL - Do it yourself.
Thank you for dropping by and have a lovely evening, Mette

Papertake Weekly + Pollycraft #54
Good morning. The sun is shining but I am wondering for how long. Knowing England it won't be for long hehe.
I am finally able to access the PC for a while as both my sons are still asleep. With summer holidays here they are monopolising it. So I will just quickly squeeze in this post.
I popped in to Pollycrafts website as they are having a sale and I had my eyes on a few images there which I quickly added to my over-grown digi image file. But hey - a crafter can never have too many images. This 1 is called "Heartstrings". Isn't she adorable?? I coloured her with my Prisma pencils, used a little glitter glue on her wings and followed this weeks Papertake Weekly sketch. The papers are MME "Be Loved". Sentiment from TLC. The flower is handmade using a stamp, a button and some string. I am also entering this card in this weeks Pollycraft Challenge "Love and Marriage" .Hope you like her.
Thank you for dropping in and have a lovely day, Mette

Quixotic challenge - Make a miniature
Good morning on a rather dull monday morning. I certainly hope it's not an indication of the weather to come now that the kids have broken up from school - 6 weeks with bad weather is not what we want.
Anyways, I was not sure whether to play along with this weeks challenge at Quixotic - miniature cards seemed a lot harder than my usual 6 x 6. But boy did I love making them and they would be great fot my little girl as invitations, thank you cards etc, etc. And they are a great way to use up all the small paper scraps we all horde.
The 2 stamps used here are Belles'n'Whistles "Little Eden" and "Clowning Around". They have been coloured with Prisma pencils and I have used papers and embellishment from stash.
I really has fun making them and hope you enjoy them too.
Thank you for dropping by and hope you have a great day, Mette

4 Challenges - 1 Card
The sun has returned again!!! It's lovely and warm in the garden. Phoebe and I tried to have our lunch there but a few wasps sent us running inside (I HATE wasps and am also allergic). So we ended up eating it inside watching Loose Women hehe.
For my card today I have used the sweet image "Miss Evie Patches" available from Squiggle Stamps HERE. She has been coloured using Prisma Pencils. The papers are "Lemonade" from Basic Grey, the flower is part hand-stamped/part Prima and attached with a brad. I used self-adhesive gems from Jacs and the ribbons are from stash. Again I used a sentiment from TLC printed onto DP.
I am entering this card into the following challenges
Friday Sketches
Stampin for the weekend - A Recipe
Stamptacular Sunday - Ice Cream (Strawberry and Pistacio mmmmm)

Cute Card Thursday 121 and Dare u 2 digi - stitches
Hm - I really wish I had a digital camera. Although I manage ok with my scanner it's impossible to scan a card onto which I have attached the stunning flowers from Wild Orchid. So might have to save for that.
Anyway - you don't really wanna hear about my troubles lol so here is the card I made yesterday. I follow Mo Manning on facebook and saw that she had put up a few christmas images in her shop. They are absolutely stunning and I just had to get a few - you know, to start of my christmas cards for this year (which I promised myself I would way back in January).
This little cutie is called "I even love the box" and have true is that. She's coloured with Prisma pencils and blender. The papers are from Summertime Designs - these are available free and there are lots of stunning ones. I used some snowflakes from stash and a little glitter glue. Isn't she adorable????

Kenny K's Krafty Girlz #1 - Pastels
Good morning all! I didn't have a good nights sleep last night. My son, who is 17, is somewhere in the Derbyshire wilderness walking and camping for the next 3 days with other young people from his school. They are doing The Duke of Edinburgh and with the rain we are having they must be soaked to the skin. I am sure they are alright it's just that as a mother you worry.
Anyhow, my card for today is for the new KennyK challenge and their first theme is pastels. You should give it a go as they have some fabulous prices. I just love his images. So current and full of cheekiness. This one is called Uptown Angel and I have coloured her with Prisma Pencils and blender. The papers are K & Co. and I have handstamped the flowers onto DP using a freebie I got from this months Craft Stamper magazine. The buttons are docraft and my ribbon from stash.

Friday Sketchers #110
Wasn't it hot over the weekend!! We had the local carnival and Phoebe absolutely loved it. And of course daddy spoiled her - bought her a pink dolphin balloon for ......... 10 pounds. I could have bought 2 stamps with that money and she lost it later poor thing. Woke up this morning and the rain has returned. Atleast it has cooled down so maybe I'll get a good nights sleep :).
My card today is for the weekly challenge over at Friday Sketchers. They have some gorgeous sketches.
My image is a Lilyboo freebie which is available HERE. I think she's lovely. I coulored her as usual with Prisma pencils and blender. The papers are Basic Grey "Sugar Rush" and the flowers from Wild Orchid.
Thank you for dropping by and have a lovely day, Mette

My chosen image is from the talented Kenny Kiernan who does some fantastic illustrations. This is Soccer from the All Starz kit but he does have several other sports images just perfect for the active kids all available HERE.
I have coloured him with Prisma pencils and blenders and used different designer papers from my stash. The gems are from Quixotic.

You're How Old??
Phew!!! I can't remember the last time the weather was this hot for this long. Been enjoying the lovely weather with my kids so crafting comes second atm.
Yesterday my little girl had her first proper visit at the local village school where she will start in September. She looked so cute in her little uniform and so proud. I will add a photo as soon as I can. She has another 2 visits before school breaks for the summer.
I managed to make this card which I will be entering into 4 different challenges. This lovely Anya is from a stamp kit by The Greeting Farm called "In the Spotlight" which I won at Quixotic. I coloured her with my usual Prisma pencils and blenders. Following the sketch at Anyone for Anya I used papers from K & Co "Classic K". The flowers are from Prima and the funny sentiment is from TLC.
Entering this card into the following challenges
