It's time to post a few ATCs from the challenges last week. Been wondering whether to put my ATCs on a seperate blog but knowing me I will just get totally confused hehe.
The first is for Crazy Amigos where the theme is "Little girls". I have again used a background I made myself (not very visible). The image I got in my local craft shop and the stamps are by Crafty Individuals. Doesn't she look so pure and innocent?
This second ATC is for Art Pieces and they have the theme "Ladies and Gentlemen". Sorry the picture isn't very clear - sometimes my scanner plays up.
I have again used a collage image which I have framed with stamped paper. The stamp is CI-235 from Crafty Individuals. I have attached a ribbon and small heart charm.

Don't you just love Mojo sketches. They are such a joy to follow and I like them. This is the first Mojo sketch I have done in a long time but will be doing more especially atm to make christmas cards.
For this card I have used a sweet image by Bildmalarna - isn't she cute hugging the polar bear?
Stamp: Mimosa by Bildmalarna
Paper: a gift as is the ribbon
Colouring: Prisma pencils
Thank you for popping by and have a lovely day, Mette

Kortudfordring 5
As a danish girl stranded in the UK it's nice to be able to join in a scandinavian challenge and seeing all the great talents in my own country. Kortudfordring (Card challenge) has some fabulous DT members, forthnightly challenges and super prices. Their page is translated into english so everyone can join.
For this challenge they asked that you make your own background paper using any technique you like.
I have tried my hands at using acrylics (which I love) and for this paper I put several blobs of different colours onto the paper and loosely moved it about using a credit card then stamped onto this with a snowflake stamp I got from Crafty Individuals. I rather like it :).
Stamp: Snowflake angel by Elzybells.
The snowflakes are from a sweet lady in the states.
Colouring: Prisma pencils
Glitter glues.

Sugar Bowl No 24
Two posts in one day - swoon............and this time a card - double swoon. Well, I thought I would try my hands at the Sugar Bowl Challenge as I have just purchased this lovely image from Funkykits. Been wanting this for ages and now the poor thing is in a box with other sugar girlies hehe.
For this challenge you have to create a card following a lovely sketch by Marlene and I believe you have a chance of winning some new stamps.
Stamp: Bunny by Diane Duda (Funkykits)
DP: recieved in a RAK from my lovely friend Linda
Hearts: Hobby Craft
Beads and thread from stash
Colouring: prisma and blender

Monthly ATC challenges
I have been very busy this month trying to make the ATCs for this month's groups. I do not make a lot of cards as I find I end up with space shortage and end up giving them to the local church to sell for funds. And I love swapping ATCs. It's so wonderful to see all the amazing talent that's all over the world.
This first one I wasn't really going to do. ATC swappers challenge for this month is "12 days of christmas" which meant we have to do 12 ATCs. But got a e-mail from Paul which was so nice that I hardly could refuse. So I set up a production line, gave my kids sweets, pop and a good movie, put on my glasses and created this..........
Stamp: Carol Singers by Elzybells Stamps
Colouring: water colours
Glitter glue
This ATC is for the Monthly ATC Swap. The theme for November is "Anything Goes" as long as it's cute. I love this little girl. She makes me smile :).

Last but not least is Addicted to ATC. Although a little late their theme is "Spooky". Alright, I know this image doesn't exactly frighten anyone but imagine IRL hordes of halloween kids all demanding sweets .......... now that is scary.

Thank God it's Friday No 112
Sorry I have not been blogging for a few days but things have been a little hectic hehe. Had the cast-iron wood/coal burner installed in the living room yesterday, just in time for winter. But would you believe I cannot get it going lol - getting more and more blond with old age. I'll be sitting here when it's freezing cold, clattering my "false" teeth (they are not hehe) and trying to light the silly fire.
Enough of my ramblings. I am for the first time joining TGiF - this week's challenge is Femme Fatale (I wish). But I wanted to play along anyways.

I found this beautiful lady in a fashion magazine and though she look absolute gorgeous. The pink background is me again experimenting with colours (this time Acrylics - gonna get myself some Claudine Hellmuth for xmas I hope). I love the effect these paints give. Added a flower, button, a feather and word and voila .................... a very pink femme fatale.

Crazy Amigos
I just thought I would do another challenge while my princess was at Playgroup. She's a little delicate atm - she tripped yesterday and hurt her little finger quite badly. Went to the doctor who said that even if it was broken there's really nothing they can do. So she's a little tearful and needing a lot of mummy love. To cheer me up I placed an order with Crafty Individuals for 2 plates :). And the postman brought my Whee with drum from Whiff of Joy.
The challenge I did was Crazy Amigos who this week want to see paints. I love painting both large and small.
The backgroup for this ATC was an experiment I did using a gold leaf pen and then added very runny water-colours. I think it looks gorgeous. Only thing I added was this lovely mother/child picture from Crafty Individuals and a sentiment. To me it seems that my mum is made up of an array of beautiful colours and no matter which colour she is, she's always raidiant. 2 small flatback pearls are added. I hope you like it.

Think Monday - Think ATC
The moment I saw this weeks Tmta challenge "Black, White and Red" I immediately thought "99 Red Balloons" by Nena. I had to google it to find out when it was recorded ............... 1984!!! "Cough cough" I am getting old. I remember dancing to this in my mum's living room like it was yesterday hehe.
I dug out this old balloon image that's been in a box for ages but it's just perfect for this. Matted and layered it onto black and red paper. It's not very clear but I put a piece of red ribbon between the white and black layer. The ballloons are coloured with markers and 2 have had a nice coating of crackle accent.
Stamp: Party Balloons
Paper: from my scrap box
Crackle Accent

High Hopes No. 52
Omg!!!! Two posts in one day. Well, in between looking after my daughter, cooking, cleaning, washing, being a nurse maid, psychologist, home-work helper etc etc I manage to send 5 min here and there on my favorite hobby and eventually projects get finished.
This weeks challenge at High Hopes is a super sketch which was a delight to follow and I used this delightful dragon which I coloured with water-colours. It's for my daughter's little friend who is 4 soon.
Stamp: High Hopes

Anyone for Anya
My niece has just past her final apprentice exams after 3 years of being taught the ropes as a hairdresser and beautician. And she passed with flying colours. I am so proud of her - too bad she lives in Denmark otherwise I could do with a little beautification lol.
I am sending her this sweet card which I made for the Anyone for Anya recipe challenge:- 3 papers, 2 buttons, 1 bow. My favorite colours are citrus colours as they remind me of hot summer days. Hope you like it.

Mo's Challenge No. 5
Don't you just love Mo's images!! First time I saw one I thought "omg - must-have" and I did get. Not only is Mo a brilliant illustrator, she's also a kind and caring person. She gives freebies and is very involved in her online fan-club. If you have not visited her shop yet you better go to Mo's Shop right away. You may also like to join her fan-club over at PaperCraftPlanet to be inspired and have fun.
And it was only a matter of time before Mo had hear own challenge blog which this week would like to see 3 different glitter elements.
The image I have chosen is the funny "I dunno" featuring Bella and Bronte. I am sure most mums have seen that expression. I have coloured the image using water-colours. My 3 glitter elements (although difficult to spot) are the Designer Paper, glitter glue on the green tutu and a green green in the Prima flower. The sentiment "wat birfday kake" is handmade. Hope you like it.

Some ATCs
Been a few days since I last posted but I have not been lazy. Still got several little projects on my workdesk which needs to be finished off but thought I would just put a few images up. My list of "TO DO's is getting longer but my list of "DONE" isn't hehe.
I have been doing a few ATCs for a few challenges that I haven't done before so without further ado

This 1 is for Wednesday Stamper where the theme is "Asia". I think most of us like that theme. It reminds me of tranquility.
The stamp I used was free with a UK Stamp magazine. The colours are red, black and gold (doesn't show).
This ATC is for a scandinavian challenge Art Pieces. This week's challenge is "Hats". Not something I wear but this young lady is looking to buy 1.The backgroup paper I made myself using baby wipes and inks. The Stamp is a big Mona Lisa I got of ebay.
The last ATC is for 3 Muses. Their theme is What a Peachy Pair. I have a feeling the gentleman is thinking of the lady in the background.
Well, that's it for the moment but will be back soon with some more to show.
Thank you for dropping by and hope you have a lovely day, Mette

Quixotic No. 1 "Birthday"
There is a new challenge blog in Bloggerland. Elaine at Quixotic and her super DT have started a challenge blog and as it was Elaine's birthday on the 4th November the first theme was .................... you guessed it "Birthday".
My "dad" is 60 at the end of November and I wanted to make him a special card. He loves Country Music, Line dancing, playing the guitar and he and my mum visit Nashville when they can. I thought it would be super to join the first ever challenge with a card for my "dad".

This handsome cowboy doesn't look anything like my dad but he was the only image I had which fitted a little. He is from The Greeting Farm and I have coloured him with Prisma Pencils. The papers are from K & Co. and I made some myself too.
Grandad - happy 60th birthday.
I hope you like him. I had a great time making the card. Just wish I had a guitar to add.
Thank you for stopping by and hope you have a crafty day, Mette

Spread the love for Jaimie
I love to visit all the wonderful blogs out there in Bloggerland and I usually have a good laugh and share everyones creations and talent. But sometimes you come across a story which touches your heart and you simply cannot turn away.
And there is no way I could turn away from the terrible story of Jaimie Cates who lost her mother in a horrific, senseless act on October 4th. For more information please visit Katharina's blog. All the details are there including the Blog Hop Candy although I am certain everyone would join in even without the candy.
The address for sending your card is here
This is the card I made for Jaimie. I am not sure whether it's the best as I don't often make cards like this. Besides, I read that Jaimie is a little tomboy who loves skateboarding, biking etc. She even has a black belt in karate. She will need the angels to watch over her now and I will be sending her all my prayers .

Tilda and frinds
OK!!! In between sneezes, coughs, hot lemon/honey teas, fever and still looking after 3 kids - yup, even helped out at my daughter's playgroup - washing, cleaning, cooking etc etc and I even managed to make 1 ATC!!! Man-flu???? Not in my house hehe.
This one is for the last ever Tilda and friend challenge "Autumn colours". It's a sad day but I do understand their reasoning for stopping. I have as usually coloured my image using water-colours (need to go back to prisma colours again).

Stamp: Bildmalarna Sitting Mimosa - The sentiment is from last year's Magnolia Fall Kit.
Flower: Woodware
DP: you know by now - my memory is failing :P
I will go to bed and nurse my flu. Was up all night cos someone was using sandpaper in my throat and I found it difficult to sleep. Tomorrow I am going to make a special card for a young lady in the US for whom my prayers go out to tonight.
Take care and stay safe, Mette
