Good morning all.

Well, what fun we had yesterday. Yes we had snow in the UK and around lunch-time the school called to say that they were closing (some teachers live far away). So fetched my daughter and her friend and low-and-behold, the snow stopped and the sun came out. No need for panic in my area at least. It's snow a very tiny bit now but we'll see.

Good morning all.

Snow has finally hit the UK. Right now it's steady - looks lovely but causes a lot of problems. The kids usually love it but not people travelling to work.

Do anyone else ever have Mojo failure? So days it's brilliant and I have lots of ideas and then other days I can sit at my desk for ages and nothing happens. I am pretty sure I am not the only one.

Whimsey and Stars

Good afternoon all.

Well, it's looked almost Christmasie today with a little dusting of fluff on the back patio. They have promised us more tonight so if it comes it won't be nice for people returning to work after the week-end.

Talking about work, now that my princess is almost 7 I think it's time for me to join the real world and start going back to work. Easier said than done these days. Hopefully something will come along soon'ish.

Whimsy Doodles

Good morning all.

Well, just back from my Slimming World meeting and lots of new ladies are joining. Might be the fact that there is free membership tokens (and magazine) in the Mirror newspaper. Or New Year resolutions. It's nice to see so many new faces. And how did I do you ask? ........ 3 1/2 pounds lighter this week (Total loss is now 1 stone 10 pounds).

A Day for Daisies

Good afternoon all.

Hope everyone is doing well and is inspired by the new year to get crafting :). My daughter is finally getting better but still keeps me awake half the night coughing - poor baby. And I think I have pulled a muscle in my shoulder - the pain is worse than when I fractured the other shoulder. Drugged up on pain-killers so if there is a spelling mistake you know why lol.

The Alley Way Stamp

Welcome 2013 and happy New Year to all.

Well, the new year is here and with it comes the hope of lots of dreams, wishes and prayers. I don't tend to make resolutions but I do want to make a few changes to my life.

The first is to continue with Slimming World and lose weight. I have lost a total of 1 1/2 stone so far so you will all be able to follow in my progress every Tuesday. That is the day of my weigh-in. 

The second is to get back into work and start socializing again. Been a long time since I last worked so it's all a little scary but exciting too. I am aware that the job situation is tough at the moment and I am not young any more.

The third is to stop buying crafting stuff (yes, I do know it's almost impossible lol). I have A LOT of stamps - digital and rubber - I have never used so this year I am determined to use some of them. My sons got me a BigShot for Christmas so the thing that I will be purchasing this year are dies. 

Anyway, enough of my chit-chatting for now and for my  first card of the year I used
