Good afternoon Crafters

Well, my little princess is ill. High fever, ear-ache, sore throat and generally feeling weak and poorly. Have kept her off school and tried to get her to eat something but it hurts when she swallows. So it's been soup, yoghurt and ice-cream all day. Hope she's feeling better soon - not nice when your kids at ill no-matter what age. Got a little crafting done so can show you ....

Good morning all.

Welcome to sick bay :(. I have both my kids home from school today. Phoebe was really poorly last night. When she gets a cold she struggles to breath and it's ever so scrary. I always have her inhaler ready but it's not nice for neither her nor me. So we have had a restless night.
James had a bad throat infection and a fever so he won't be going to school either. And me - well, hopefully I won't get it as there is noone to look after me lol.

This is my card for today ....



...... I had a lot of fun making this card. And yellow being one of my favorite colours made it even more so - a little sunshine on these grey days. The sketch was such fun and I am entering this card into the following .....

Good morning all.

What ..... no rain today?! I think it's a trick to make me do the washing and hang it out before the big down-pour lol. Well, the washing is out so we just have to wait and see, it has gone rather dark :).

It's finally Friday - been a funny week with the kids back at school. Phoebe hasn't quiet settled back in (wants to stay home with mum) and I am getting used to the house being quiet. And I am getting some quality crafting time. Don't have any plans this week-end so will be doing a little chilling with my princess.

Busty Beauty Zombie

Good morning all.

Well, it's monday again and I don't know about you but time is FLYING. I can't believe we are in October already and christmas is just around the corner AGAIN.

I had Ben home this weekend and naturally I spoiled him. Especilly since he stated that he had missed me - yes, my cooking, washing and all-round maid hehe. It was great to see him again and re-assuring myself that he's doing fine on his own. It's a mummy-thing I think, always worrying about our kids.

Didn't get a lot of crafting done but managed to mix together this ..........



.......... isn't this a fabulous image. It was from one of Simply Betty's group and I think she's gorgeous. Put her together with some paper I had from a while back and coloured with Promarkers. Was a little scared about using the green for her skin but turned out ok I think.

Good morning Sunday!

Yup, still got the flu or what's left of it. But at least I am starting to feel more human and getting more energy. It's rather early here so still not sure what the weather is going to be like - hopefully dry.
It's half-term so I am wondering how much time I'll be allowed on the computer. Both my sons play World of Warcraft but they will more than likely be up later so I can post early mornings and have a look at other blogs.

Another christmas card from me today. Last year I made far too few so I am stocking up now. This is for the fabulous sketch over at Friday Sketchers and I have used a super image from Simply Betty. Isn't she fab!!! The sentiment is danish and means Happy Christmas.

You Rock!!

This month is definately turning into a total nightmare lol. Firstly the kids are of school, secondly the car broke down and I am having to lay out 175.00 GBP for repair and MOT. Now my main PC is out of action and we have to use the laptop. It doesn't have a lot of memory so won't hold my sons computer game and now they are moaning. Wonder what will happen next as accidents usually comes in three :((.
One good thing was my son's AS results - A in biology and D in Chemistry and PE. Hopefully the this year will be just as good for him as he wants to go to Uni next summer.

Anyhow, enough of my grumbles. You wanna be entertained not listening to my rambles so here is my card for today. I made this for my son as a Well Done card and this super image from Simply Betty is just right for a 17 year old boy. Isn't he great?? He's coloured with Promarkers and papers used are Bo Bunny together with unknown. The stickers are all from stash and perfect for this card.
