........... isn't she adorable?! She's called Sketchie but I think she "borrows" them lol. Don't ask me how she manages to colour - it's bigger than her. I will enter this into "Anything goes" challenge at Saturated Canary

Force Girl

Good evening all.

What a day. It's been raining all day and we so wanted the sun to shine on the Queen's river tour. Would you believe the Queen, who is 86, stood up for well over 3 hours taking in the sights of all the boats on the river in her barge as it joined the procession down the river Thames - what a fabulous lady. Even just watching it on the TV was spectacular and although I am not British I still felt a sense of pride (strange really). I am sure she enjoyed it immensely despite the rain. And tomorrow the concert followed by a Thanksgiving service in the St Paul's cathedral and carriage procession thu London. This really is an eventful time. Roll on the Olympics.

My project for the day ......



...... a little bookmark made for a girl who loves adventure and Sci Fi. She will have a book too :). Used Krista's super Force Girl, available HERE. I am a huge Star Wars fan so this girl had to come live in my collection of treasured images. A few different papers, some buttons and bits have been used. I am gonna enter this into the SC challenge "Tags".

Good morning all.

It's another sunny day here in Derbyshire and I have a last a little peace. Phoebe wanted to go to school this morning and as she was feeling better I let her. She did have a hot night and woke a few time for inhalor but she seems fine today. We only live 3 min away so if she gets worse her teacher would call me.

So am getting a little time to catch up with a lot of things - cleaning, washing, all the boring jobs lol. But the best thing - it's quiet lol. Phoebe talks non-stop and I mean NON-STOP and it's nice to get a little brain rest. Not that I mind her chattering and singing :).

Been reading this book James got fot christmas "School Fail (Hilarious Howlers from School)" and I might entertain you all with a few bits, so .....

'A giraffe needs a long neck because it's head is so far from its body'

and this one had me in stitches .....

Good morning ladies from sunny Derbyshire.

Well, What a strange week-end. Saturday was sun and showers, yesterday it never stopped raining and today - bright sunshire. To top it all I have had a lot of ideas floating in my head ......did I just hear a collective gasp :) ...... and got some quality crafting done. Has to write a lot of it down as my brain-capacity these days has been dramatically reduced hehe.

........... this little girl. Isn't she fun!? I based this card of the fact that when I informed Phoebe that the Easter Bunny would bring her easter eggs she went "Huh?? Don't you know mummy that eggs come from CHICKENS" and she looked at me as if I had lost my mind lol. I will enter this into the SATURATED CANARY CHALLENGE where the theme is "Doilies".

I made this card for the CAS challenge over at Saturated Canary CHallenge blog and it will make a super card for some little girl :). And this is one of my favorite colour combos - looks so nice with kraft I think. I get my buttons from Sew Sweet - she has fabulous buttons, ribbons and other super elements.

Good morning all.

Well, it's October but it sure feels like July. The weather is glorious but the funny thing is they are promising us snow in about 2 weeks time lol. From one extreme to another. I am totally confused!!!!

Ben came home last night. Hasn't changed a bit (well, he has only been gone for 3 weeks) and no, he didn't bring back a load of washing - just a hungry stomach. But it was so nice to see him again and making sure he's ok. I can spoil him for a few days before he goes back.

Anyways, this is the reason for posting here ...............
